I like her. I know we haven't had a proper conversation yet. After giving me a sassy reply I couldn't help but smile. My order was brought in shortly after. It was already late and I know her shift would soon end. Waiting, Mrs. Davis the local manager came over. Deavan dear you good?Yeah Mrs Davis. Mrs Davis is the appointed local manager of my family's café.
After a little chitchat with Mrs. Davis,I saw Mandy signing out.I quickly excused myself and made my way towards the entrance.
“Mandy”, I yelled. She stopped and turned whiles I quickly jogged over towards her tired figure.
With a raised eyebrow,she kept staring at me. Hey,I know we haven't gotten to know each other better yet but circumstances make us meet often.You are also friends with my sister.
I was wondering if you would want to hangout sometime.  You know get to know each other properly and all.
Actually I really have a busy schedule but lets see .“ Okay so I'm throwing a party next week and it would be a pleasure to see you there”, I said hoping to get a pleasing reply.
Deavan I'll think about it,like I said earlier I have a busy schedule.
I loved the sound of my name from her lips.“ Can I at least drop you home”, I asked with pleading eyes. A charm that mostly works on most girls.Nah I'm good.Besides my uber is in. Walking over to her ride,she surprisingly waved at me. I didn't hesitate to wave back.
I don't even know why I'm into her because I don't remember the last time a girl played hard- to -get with me.

MANDY'S P.O.V
Laying in bed ,all I could do was replay today's events. Why does he want to get to know me. Honestly speaking I had already been invited by Brittany. She was literally begging me to come.Anyways lets see what happens.
I don't have a shift today meaning I can have the  rest my body has been dying for.
Getting to the kitchen, Mel was seated enjoying her cereal.
Heyyy, any plans for the day. "Nah you got any" , asked Mel. Not really.
Okay we can watch some movies after  I get back from my boyfriend's place." How are things going on between you and Dylan", I asked Mel looking directly into her eyes to note any unpleasant facial expression.
We are good, everything's okay now.
