She Returns

Princess Lisa awakened in a dark room that was cold. She was laying on something hard and sturdy. She rubbed her eyes and then began to see in the darkness. She was frightened at the sight of all her ancestors laying on their stone beds in the darkness.. Lisa was terrified but somehow.. Comforted at the same time.. She ran to the stone wall they had blocking the entrance and pounded it with her fists and she screamed.

Lisa: Let me out of here! I demand for you to let me out! I am not dead! I am alive! Do you hear your future Queen? I am alive, I tell you! Alive!

She screamed. It seemed as if no one had heard her cries until she heard something.. She looked around the dark and deathly stone cave of ancestors.. She was afraid.. But comforted..

Lisa: Reveal yourself to me!

She shouted in fear. Everything remained silent..

Lisa: Perhaps it is my mind that is messing with me.

She began to hear things and became angry. Her voice changed as the voices kept taunting her. It told her to kill.. It ordered her to.

Lisa: You do not order me! I am the Princess! Leave me.. ALONE!

Her eyes turned red as she stood up with rage in her eyes and then she stuck the stone with a terrifying scream. It cracked and fell over. All who were there were frozen and afraid.. Petrified were the men that stood guard over the stone cemetery of royal ancestors and frozen was the Princess with her pale skin and deep red eyes as she gazed at each of them. Her head lifted slowly and peered into the souls of the frozen soldiers.

Lisa: You imbeciles! Have you not a clean ear? Have you not the decency to hear your own Princess cry for help? You pathetic punny frauds! I despise you! Be gone! Or you shall regret your life forever!

She bellowed and the men finally moved.. They looked at each other and both of them wanted to say something or run but they couldn't.

Lisa: Have it your way..

Soldier: Princess, we have not a choice but to stay and guard the temple of the dead. Tis our duty, your highness.

One of them said, then bowed. Lisa glared at the other soldier and he bowed as well.

Lisa: Such a pitty.. Have you not heard me scream for help? I was not dead, but merely asleep!

Soldier: The King & Queen believe that you are dead. You have been sleeping for days, Princess..

Lisa: Days? But I am sure I was still breathing..

He shook his head.

Soldier: No your highness.

Her stomach began to growl.. And so did she.

Lisa: You.. Take me to the palace, immediately.

She said as she pointed to the other soldier. He looked at the other, then went. They were out of sight when she began to smell something..

Lisa: Do you smell that?

Soldier: What is it that you smell Princess?

She closed her eyes and took another good whiff of the scent. When she opened her eyes, they were black.

Lisa: I do not know.. It is pleasant and rich.. Wonderful and..

Soldier: And?

She grinned once she took another whiff.

Lisa: Bloody..

Soldier: Princess? Your eyes! They are red!

She walked directly in front of him and eyed him, then her target was seen.
