A silent night of silent tears. Alice pondered everything as Jermaine let the pools of his eyes break and drain completely, leaving a trail down his reddened face. And as Alice stared into the eyes of darkness as she laid back onto the bed, she thought of the matter that sat before her. Being that she was with child, she began to move her resting hands for some kind of assurance that was sure to never come as long as she knew..
There would be no wedding, no love, and certainly no father for her child just as she once lived.. The terror of this news bombarded her possibility to think positive and deprived her from the proper rest. Arising from her misery, Alice stood firmly as she stared into the eyes of the dawning of a new day. What to do was the strategy that was sure to come easily to her before the sun rose, but it was letting go that would hurt the most. The shamefulness of her presence being before a Prince was a weight bestowed upon her head and eyes.
Then the air she was losing was then inhaled deeply at the very slightest touch of a hand upon her shoulder, followed by a kiss.

Jermaine: Precious Princess, with what might thou be discouraged?

Alice: No words could ever express the pressure of having no air..

Jermaine: Air? Here we are in the midst of our balcony looking into the very heart of the kingdom, and yet, you say that you posses no air?

The prisoner of air compressing her chest escaped with the hint of dismay trailing behind it.

Alice: Words work not in my favor.. I must excuse myself.

The swift turn of Alice's body was rejected by the mere touch of the hands that were now joined together.

Jermaine: Please..

Alice: I must go about my own business. Not that I must be rid myself from you.. I just..

The shiver of emotions forced her lower lip to quiver with fear and depression. And with this action, it was compressed by the teeth of her mouth which blocked her words.

Jermaine: Alice..

He reached for her face but she turned her head the other way.

Alice: No words..

And just as the wind, Alice fled the room before her eyes caused a thunderstorm of tears. Alice had no clue where her feet had carried her, but it was quite peaceful.. If she could only hide from the sun.. But the darkness fled the room as the light of day became visible. Meanwhile, Jermaine sat in misery.. Grieving for his wife. Although the law is the law, Joseph is the King and the King has absolute power.

Jermaine: Do I dare challenge the monarchy of the Jacksons? Alice is my only love, how dare I break her heart? Shall I sit in my misery as we grieve for each other or split the rotteness of the heart of the Neverland King and henceforth forevermore be rid of such comodity?

He pondered. Then his legs carried themselves to the one place Alice could be and as he approached it, the echo of his feet bounced about the palace halls. Then the door that lead to the room that was already open, he entered in the name of love. The stillness of the evergreen wall, the brightness of the light illuminating her body and the one desire to be happy.

Jermaine: Alice.. I pray thee, come unto me. Be my wife, whatever the cost. I would sacrifice thy very life for thee. For what is a King without love? And what man would I be not to raise my child and marry you?

The stillness of her head slowly faced him as he stood before her.

Alice: Weak..

Jermaine: Then let me be strong. Become my wife.

Alice: But your father-.

Jermaine: I care not what he thinks! If a man can leave a precious jewel behind, such as thyself, then royalty shall we be of Neverland. Halfbloods full of love. It matters not where we are, just as long as we have each other.
