CHAPTER-4

Sindhu pov:

I woke up to the sound of our hen. I need to finish all the works and breakfast to my bava. I need to hurry. I ran to the bathroom to get ready. When I entered the bathroom I looked at the mirror to see the worst image of myself. With messy hair, puffy eyes and tear stained face. I remembered what happened yesterday. I felt tears coming back again. I washed my face and got ready.

I went to dining table to see everything is already placed. Mavayya came first and asked,"Sindhu you shouldn't be angry with food. Always eat whatever the situation is. Ok?!". I just smiled at him apologizingly. He sat down and everyone came to the dining table even bava too. Now, i don't have the right to him 'my'. I silently served everyone. Rushika and Shivantik didn't eat anything. I said,"Rushi and Shiva eat fastly don't you guys work." They replied," Vadina...." I glared at them as if saying them to not call me Vadina anymore. They immediately shut their mouths but continued saying," Sindhu we'll have the breakfast when you'll have it. We want to eat with you." I nodded at them. Mavayya began saying,"Sindhu, I began the search of groom for you. I just wanted you to know that."

I stopped serving food to bava by hearing this. I took a deep breathe and said,"As you wish Mavayya." I looked at bava who is looking blank and angry. I saw his jaws are clenched and fists in a tight grip. Mavayya and bava started to eat the breakfast. They took the first bite. Bava immediately asked,"Who made the breakfast?!". Immediately Lakshmi aunty came and said,"I did it babu." He looked at me asked,"Why didn't you make the breakfast today?!" I started to reply him scared but mavayya interrupted saying,"Rudra after her marriage she will be not here to make our breakfast, lunch and dinner. So, start eat the food prepared by Lakshmi. Sindhu now onwards don't prepare the food for us. You can do whatever you want till you get married. Don't even do the house work too." I dragged saying," Mavayya....." He immediately shut me up by glaring at me hard. I looked at bava too who is glaring at me hard. Waah.... Like father like son. But the reasons are different. Bava didn't eat the breakfast and left to the work.

I sighed. And started to have my breakfast with Rushika and Shivantik. Rushika asked," Sindhu vadina nijam ganey nuvvu verey pelli cheskuntava. Maa Anna ni entha love chesi sudden ga vere vadini ela pelli cheskuntav. Aina nee gurinchi maku teliyada enti."(Sindhu Sister in-law are you really going to get married to someone stranger. You have loved my brother alot but suddenly how can you marry someone. Also, we know very much about you.)"

I replied," Em cheyamantav Mari Mee annaya ni blackmail chesi nannu pelli cheskomantava, niku mundhey cheppa Mee annaya nannu eppudu aithey manasara premisthado appudey thanani pelli cheskunta lekapothey ledhu ani."(What should I do say, should I blackmail your brother and marry him?!! I already told you that if your brother loves me whole-heartedly then I will marry him.)

They both looked at me gloomily. Shiva asked,"Vadi... Sindhu what are you going to do now. You are getting married within few months to someone else." I replied,"I will run away the next minute after my marriage get fixed with someone else and go to somewhere no one can find me." They looked at me surprised. They said at the same time,"We know you would do that." We laughed for some time. But, I can see the shadow of my bava who is listening to us from the start....
