Chapter 24

September 27th 1890

London England. Persephone and Amon are sat in Katherine's town house listening to her tell the tale of the serial killer Jack the Ripper, who she had turned into her willing slave, to commit these violent murders.

"How did you do it Kat?" Persephone asked with excitement.

"Well the man is a bit slow in the head, but he would have been an excellent doctor, he can't seem to keep his cock in his pants, even though he has a willing wife at home, I offered him a chance to be immortal and live forever, but he had to prove himself to me, he ignored me at first and ended up getting a prostitute pregnant and considering that he was that drunk he can't remember, so he's killing prostitutes, but I've been teaching him how to kill and where to leave the body's, just to cause the right amount of fear in the public." Katherine laughs out.

"He sounds like he could make an excellent vampire Kat." Persephone says to her, but Katherine just isn't amused by this Jack the Ripper character anymore, he's starting to bore her, Katherine is a woman that needs excitement in her life, Amon is the only man to do this and that is even without the sex, she thought Felix could be that man, but he died before they could see, many men have come and gone in her life and none have lasted even a decade.

Arius was someone who could keep her excited but trying to kill her, then using her was not something that she wanted from a mate. Plus Layla had her claws in to deep, and she wasn't killing a whore for any man, even if they could have been perfect together. She's just not easily pleased, even Vlad bored her, and she was with him longer than any other male as her darling Samantha was her longest relationship.

"He might do, but it won't be me that makes him. I've grown quite bored with him, so I couldn't imagine turning him and spending all that time with him before he becomes a master. Besides I've been invited to a ball next month in Rome held by Prince Pyro." Katherine says.

"Why on earth is Maris' son throwing a ball?" Amon asked.

"I don't know, but apparently he's even invited his grandmother Lilith, her and Aurora are coming here next week, and we are going together, are you not going, I know you and Pyro are friends Benny boy." Katherine asked, Amon just shakes his head.

"No! I haven't been invited, so just be careful and have Aurora on high alert to get you and Lilith out of there." Amon says to her. Katherine just laughs at him.

"Fucking hell Ben I'm as old as you, how stupid do you think I am?" Amon looks at her with a smile.

"Do you really want me to answer that fat ass?" He says while laughing at her.

"You fucking prick, and for the last time I do not have a fat ass, you arsehole." Persephone just watches them both and begins giggling, these two will never change, for over 200 years they like to rile each other up and in Persephone's eyes, it never gets boring watching them.

Even though deep down she knows that Amon should be mated to Katherine and not her, they just compliment one another in ways that she can't do, because she just isn't as good as either of them, she was arm candy as a human, and she's been arm candy as a vampire, Amon doesn't treat her as such but Vlad and Alucard did. But no one can have Amon now he's hers for eternity and nothing can break that, except true love, but as soulless monsters who are going love us except another soulless monster.

Persephone knows that she has Amon's demon and that is rare in its self so the chances of either of them finding true love is near impossible. As far as she could know, hers and Amons true love could be long since dead, or they are yet to be born, Persephone knows that no one is better for her than Amon so if the day ever comes she'll kill anyone man or woman who tries to take her Amon away from her.
