The Vampire: The Life of Katherine

Chapter 12

August 16th 1792

Nottingham England, Katherine is walking the streets on her own, she's been stalking a male Vampire Hunter called Randall Hart. She just needed to get out of the house that her and Amon are staying at, they've been quite distant since they almost had sex a few years ago. Whenever they are close and Katherine feels like they're going to do something, it's like Amon always has something else to do.

It's driving her mad, it hasn't helped that vampires from all over the world are trying to kill them. It's been three months since the last attack, they had to leave Preston as the Asmall estate got demolished, they decided to head south to the Ledger estate, but Katherine heard that there was a Vampire Hunter in Nottingham, so it's why they stayed here.

The sun is just setting and Katherine has been following Randell for about two hours, she's only just realised that she's been taken around in circles, she turns a corner and bumps into Amon.

"I was wondering how long it would take you to figure out you was going in circles." He laughed out. She looks over his shoulder and Randall is completely knocked out.

"For fuck sake Ben." She goes to Randall and snaps his neck.

"You've ruined my night thanks." She says in a huff and begins to walk off. Amon grabs her arm and pulls her to him just as an arrow hits the wall next to her head.

"He's working with the vampires, he was luring you into a trap. Where is your head at? Your better than this." He says to her quite annoyed. Her head is swimming because this is the closest they've been in nearly two years.

"Let's go pay them a visit then, considering that they've ruined my night." She says and in a blur of motion Katherine is up on the rooftops, making her way towards the group of vampires in full Vampire face as she's sexually frustrated and angry that she had to be quick killing the Hunter.

When she arrives there's a man dressed similar to her and Amon, with his hood up, he's cleaning his sword and there is dust blowing in the wind. Amon comes to a stop just behind Katherine.

"I couldn't let my friends be ambushed now could I." The man says and pulls down his hood to reveal Daniel.

"It's good to see you old friend, is Imogene with you?" Amon asked.

"No she's gone to Manchester to pay her respect to Prince Alucard." He tells them.

"I'll never get used to hearing that. Thanks a lot Danny." She says sarcastically and turns around to walk off before Danny can say you're welcome. Amon goes to embrace Daniel in a hug but Daniel steps back.

"Can't risk your scent Ben sorry my friend. What's up with Lady Katrina?" He asked.

"She's sexually frustrated mate." He tells him.

"I honestly thought that you two would've been going at it all the time, even Lady Dorothy said that to me two months ago at Stuart's birthday party. She sounded very jealous mate." Daniel tells him.

"Sadly no, I'm actually scared of rejection from her, so I've been making up excuses to not sleep with her. Plus I'm not over Dorothy mate." He says and turns to walk off, but Katherine is standing right behind him and slaps his face and walks off.

He puts his hand to his cheek and looks at Daniel with a smile. Amon needed Katherine to back off from him, because it's getting harder and harder to turn her down, he could feel himself weakening to her attempts, he would've slept with her before the year was out. Katherine will leave him alone and go and get laid tonight off a mortal, and hopefully things between them can get back to normal. Katherine is walking back home in complete rage.
