"Study Buddy"

Sunday came around and you decided to dress pretty but not TO pretty. You took a shower and you put on a pair of ripped jeans and a cropped butterfly shirt. You French braided your hair into 2 pigtail buns and put on your makeup. It was about 5: 12 when you got done getting ready. So you were scrolling through TikTok and instagram until Leslie was here. After a while, I got up and started to cook chicken Alfredo and I cooked a lot so if Leslie wanted some he could have it.

He did live pretty far away so you relaxed a while.

Leslie POV
I woke up and was a little excited that today I was going to help Y/N with her music. I can't really tell if I like her. I mean don't get me wrong she's VERY pretty and she has a really nice and funny personality. But I need to get to know her better. I started to head out look nice for her. I was feeling a little hungry but was too excited to stop and get food. I finally arrived at her house a little mad that I was so far away from her. I arrived an rang the doorbell waiting for the door to open. "Hey Les" Y/N said with a grin on her lips. "Hey nerd" I said and ruffled her hair a bit. "Hey! That took me a long time to do" she said frowning a bit. "I didn't even mess up your hair calm down" I said rolling my eyes sarcastically. "Whatever, are you hungry?" She said walking to the kitchen. "No, not really" I said which was kind of a lie. "Too bad, so sad. I made to much Alfredo when I was cooking so your getting some" she said with no questions asked. She pulled out a plastic container with a lid and put some in it and closed it. Then she got a fork and swirled the noodles on it and grabbed a napkin. "Here try it" she said, excited for me to try it...it was kind of cute...WHAT AM I THINKING OMG.  Anyways I picked up the fork and ate the noodles then wiped off my mouth "I want to say this sucks but it's actually really good" I said still chomping on the noodles. "Thank you" she said, she turned around too quick but I could have sworn I saw her blush... maybe I'm delulu. "Well I mean of course the nerd knows how to cook" I said smirking. "Of CouRse ThE nErd KnOwS HoW tO CoOk" she said mocking me, then she threw up her pinky finger acting like she flipped me off. I chuckled at her actions.

Y/Ns POV
"Okay can we practice now" I said wanting to be good at my auditions. "Okay, okay" he said back sarcastically. I can tell what one of his love language is now. It's sarcasm and bullying. "Hurrryyyy" I said, him starting to jog after I said that. "Wait who's gonna sing Lins part?" He said curiously. "Just play the recording"
"Oh yeah...of course the nerd would think of that" he said the last part under his breath. "I heard that" you said trying to sound mad.
"Okay..."
You played the piano with the recording in the background.

You played the high notes after he said the last word of the line.

You played the last couple of note before it was just you playing and the recording of Lins voice.
You started to play your part and you see from the corner of your eyes Leslie was staring at you and you did not know if he thought it sounded good or bad. But you remember from your old band directors that you always perform no matter what. So you kept playing you started to get nervous but kept playing. You finished the last few notes and looked up at Leslie. He was staring at you like he saw a ghost. "What?" You said laughing nervously. "Listen, I knew you were good but I didn't know you were that good." He smiled.
"Aw thanks Les, I thought I was doing bad and got nervous." You chuckled again nervously
"Oh no, I'm so sorry if I made you think you were bad you weren't you were AMAZING" he stared longer.
"Oh uhm, thank you for the Alfredo but I think I should go now." He said nervously and was about to leave.
"Wait, do you want to hang out some? I have to audition tomorrow so it might be the only time I can talk to you."
"Sure, do you want to watch a movie" he said smiling and relieved that you didn't shove him out the door.
"Oooh yes! What do you want to watch" you ran over to the couch and picked up the remote.
"Hmm how about, Moana?" He smiled.
"Ooooh yes!" You said excitedly.
