"We did it!"

*Third Person POV*

After a couple of months with Leslie, we both were going into court against Daniel, Y/Ns ex. Leslie was Y/Ns lawyer and also witness, which worked well for Y/N. (I'm sorry if this is not how court works 😭). The day came for court and Y/N was holding Leslie's hand while walking in and she was visibly nervous about the whole situation.

*Y/Ns POV*

"You okay, princess?" Leslie asked gently.
"Yeah I'm fine, I'm just-...nervous to see him again"
Leslie gently let go of my hand and wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closely into him.
"It's okay, love. I won't let him hurt you and the court won't let him hurt you. As long as you tell the truth justice will come." Leslie's stated in a gentle tone.
I smiled and hugged back into him, my head leaning into his chest as we walked.

*Time Skip*
Leslie and Y/N walked into court and soon it started. After Daniel was up on the stand and pleaded his case, which Leslie was quickly able to dismiss as false. I was next as I walked up to the stand and sat in the chair, the small microphone being right in front of me. I was telling my story but Daniel's lawyer was extremely rude and kept dismissing the truth and interrupting me.

"Your honor, my client Daniel said that he was on the influence of alcohol, he obviously didn't mean to do the action." Daniel's Lawyer stated.

I stared at him with narrowed eyes of confusion before speaking up.

"Uh...sorry about this Your Honor but that doesn't justify anything. If I was under the influence of alcohol, does that give me the right to murder someone? No it doesn't."

*Time skip again*

After a few hours of the court case, the jury voted on Daniel to be guilty. The judge got our attention before she spoke.

"Order in the court! I hear by declare that Daniel is guilty, case dismissed!" She hit the hammer on the desk to finalize the decision. I watched the officers go and handcuff Daniel with him screaming about how it all was a lie. I stared at him with a unamused look as I walked back to Leslie.

"Les we did it!" I screamed and hugged him tightly as he picked me up as I hugged him.

"I'm so proud of you! You were so brave, I love you so much!" Leslie exclaimed.

*Time skip to when we got home*
Me and Leslie were watching the rest of stranger things as my head was laid on his lap and we were sharing popcorn with each other.

Word count: 508 (I'm so sorry for this short chapter and I'm ending the story here, I lowkey don't like writing guys and I don't find it very fun to write SO I AM SO SORRYYYY. I don't like writing stories like this BUT expect as one shot story with Hamilton characters and cast soon 😼)
