"The Cast"

Saturday came, you must admit you were VERY excited. You hopped in your car wearing a lavender spaghetti strapped tank top with grey sweatpants, since you weren't really expecting you had to look good, just decent. You put on your mascara and lip gloss (more if you usually wear more makeup I just don't wear that much bc it gives me acne 🙄) you applied it in the car since you were running late. Once you got there, there was a LOT of people there. You thought to your self 'well Lin did say I was meeting the cast and the orchestra' you walked in with some people not noticing you did walk in and some exchanging smiles and waves. You walk in with 3 girls hugging you tightly "woahhh!" You said sarcastically but nicely at the same time because they hugged you. "Hi we're all best friends with the orchestra well basically the whole cast is, I can't wait to be friends with you!" A shirt girl with curly hair said. Her name was Jasmine I learned later in the conversation. Finally Lin was able to get everyone in a group together to say hi to me. (You joined the orchestra late that's why they are only saying hi to you) He lined everybody up in a line starting with the actual cast members. I was shaking everyone's hand but then I stumbled across a tall, dark skinned, short haired, and dark eyed guy. 'Dang this dude is FINE' I thought to myself. But I was not going to expect anything because usually I loose interest if they don't have a good personality. He stuck out his hand for me to shake I gladly shook it. "Hello there I'm Leslie. You are?" The very good looking man said. "Oh, I'm Y/N. I'm in the orchestra if you didn't know, though I'm sure you do." I said with a slight chuckle. "Yeah I know, I hope you're good at playing loud though because there is a bunch of loud moments in the show" he also said back with a slight chuckle. "I know" you said confidently "I hope you're good at acting" you say while winking at him. You watched as his face turned from confidence to a chuckle, but if you ask me I thought it looked like a flustered chuckle but whatever. Leslie was the only cast member you actually had a full conversation with besides the girls, oh and Lin of course. When you walked to the next person every time. You could have swore that Leslie was watching you the whole time but maybe you're being delulu you thought. You finally got the music Lin told you about and, like you thought it was hard Lin was talking about something but you weren't listening because you were looking at your music studying it. You kept getting stuck on one part because you tried to imagine yourself hitting the keys but the chord that was on the page had notes that were very far from each other. You started to get a wee bit nervous about your audition. Lin stops talking ending with a "Alright see you guys at rehearsal and see you Y/N at auditions" you looked around realizing that you heard literally nothing Lin said. You were gonna ask the girls but they scattered away too quickly. 'Dang' you thought. You saw that Leslie was still there. He looks as if he's walking to his car. You run up next to him with your music in hand. "Hey Les" he smiles at the nickname given, you thought that was cute tbh. "Do you know what Lin said I was honestly not listening." Les laughs and says "Nerd over here is too busy reading her music" you giggle slightly but still needed to know what he said before Leslie reached his car. "Basically he was just saying how the musical is going to be a hard thing to learn." He said looking at you while walking. "Oh okay! See you later Les. Also watch out for that pothole." You said giggling. You watched as his eye went from soft to confused and he almost trips over his feet. "Thanks for the head up" you go to your car smiling a bit and maybe even blushing. You still don't know if you like the man or not.
