"It's been a rough few weeks since local college student Taylor was attacked by a psychotic killer still on the loose and while she remains in the hospital recovering from a coma, she's now in physical therapy. Her health is improving daily and doctors say she may be able to leave the hospital any day now. Meanwhile, police still have no leads in solving the brutal murder of another female student. Leaving this small town shocked and devastated by the killer's horrific crimes who the national media is now calling The Key Jangler due to the sound associated with the murderer. We're standing outside of the college where all of this took place and right next to me is a student willing to share her side of the story of what went down... -"

"Turn that shit off, bro!" Brad said to his frat brother. "You're going to scare all the girls away. We need the ladies nice and lubed up for the party, ya know?"

With the sun slowly setting the frat party began. Loud music played from a DJ booth. Young men and women danced by the pool and there on the couch in the living room sat Brad with a new girl on his shoulder. He was still Morgan's boyfriend and he had been cheating on Morgan their entire relationship. He figured a slew of missed calls wouldn't hurt their relationship either. He was dead wrong.

Morgan had been developing a platonic bond with Detective James ever since she sought help with her drinking problem. Eventually, they both agreed to help each other catch the killer, or what Taylor kept calling "The Key Jangler."

Taylor said she described the killer that way because when she was being stabbed she could hear the jangle of keys around his waist. She also knew he was male just based on his strength. She couldn't remember much else because she had lost so much blood she had passed out multiple times during the attack.

James and Morgan had become sort of quasi-partners. Their friendship grew stronger over their shared goal of catching the Key Jangler. At first, they thought maybe Brad was the killer. They ruled him out but they investigated him just for fun. They soon found out Brad was cheating on Morgan, which led to a secret frat house in the local suburbs. This went against the rules of the college. It is illegal to have an unsanctioned frat house. So in essence the investigation slowly morphed into a sting operation for both Morgan and Detective James.

Morgan and Detective James walked through the front door of the illegal frat house and Morgan yelled out "Where's Brad?" No one heard her over the loud music. She got into the DJ booth and turned the music off. She got on the mic and yelled, "I'm going to ask again! One more time, where the fuck is my boyfriend?" Everyone stopped dancing and looked around. A girl in a pink bikini pointed to a corner where Brad was making out with another girl. He looked up at Morgan with a glazed look in his eyes. "Oh shit, hey Morgan, welcome to the party! Woo!"

Detective James saw drugs of all sorts strewn about the house and called in for another squad car.

4 cars showed up instead of one. The police began to break up the party and make arrests.

Morgan stormed through the front door and walked towards Detective James' car and sat on the hood in disbelief and disgusted at what she just saw. She sat there furious and watched her ex-boyfriend being arrested, wishing she could kick him in the nuts. If it were not for all the police around she would have done it.

Brad drunkenly yelled in Morgan's direction "When I get out I'm leaving this cursed town and I'm never coming back, you'll never see me again bitch! Ha-ha! My parents are filthy rich, they can afford to send me anywhere Morgan! Have fun with your stupid little concert and your murdered friends! This town is a shit hole anyway!" He spat on the ground.

He kept yelling similar things on the way to the station. When he got out of jail, he was immediately expelled by Principal Smith. Eventually, he left town with his filthy rich family and Morgan never saw him again.
