I sighed looking at the list of things to do for today damn that Ram for putting me into this situation the list contained a variety of difficult things one particular thing circled

'Enter the sanctuary and convince the residents to join.'

How did i find about the sanctuary? Well it was quite simple i snuck into roswaal mansion and stole a few books from the forbidden libary im sure she's livid but i need some info especially having the guild master on my tail

I need some dirt on him. Thats the only way he'll leave me alone the witch cult are a problem too and that damn whale is annoying me killing my mercenaries and that stupid rabbit

They were created by gluttony right? When i have a chance to talk to her i will make sure to have her how to kill the damn rabbit as for the fat blubber whale

I have plans for him. Crusch and anstastia are currently informed on the plan but we'll need to know where it will strike and when it will strike

A man entered the throne the creaking of the door being heard in my ears and his he looked at me with fear his legs immediately buckled infront of me into a bow

Man:
"S-Sir Your, c-carriage is r-ready." The man voice trembling said to me like he thinks he could life lose his life at any second he continued to stare with those terrified eyes waiting for a response

Subaru:
"Why so scared? I don't bite." I looked at him with a smile which looked reassuring enough for him to feel a bit more comfortable  the man simply stared at me with bit more trust then before

Subaru:
"Cecilus cut off his head."
my smile turned into a sadistic smile its natural form after finishing the sentence the man stared at me with terrified eyes just how my eyes used to be

It made me sick.

Man:
"Wai-"
Before he could even
finish his words his head rolls to my feet his eyes dark and lifeless compared to those terrified eyes from before his body falling to the floor as it lost the ability to move and thus to balance itself

Did i feel guilty did i look at my hands disgust?
Of course not. It is his fault for entering the room with that horrendous sound why should i feel guilt over that he shouldn't have felt comfortable in the first place doesn't he know who i am

Cecilus:
"You really are a cruel man, Subaru-san"
He looked at the head then sheaved his sword back

Subaru:
"Shut up Cecilus."
I looked at the head and kicked it away only to be stopped by the mans dead body the blood still looked perfectly fresh if we had vampires in this world im sure our miltary would've tripled alone

Cecilus:
"Your so mean to your strongest Subordinate."
He pouted while looking at me then back at his katana before starting to play around with the handel

Haniball:
"Im right here you annoying fuck."
He sharply stared at Cecilus while he played with the sword handel
Cecilus:
"Watch that mouth, only one of us can make jokes like that Haniball-kun."

He looked serious for a second but then
stuck out his tongue the end of the sentence

Hanibal just looked annoyed but decided to not continue Cecilus just had a smile on his face he wanted to rub it in but decided not to

Subaru:
"Your both children. I wonder how you two were even allowed to become this strong without destroying a town cause of tantrum."
I had my eyes closed while talking but had a amused tone while talking aswel

I hope you guys enjoy this side story if your wondering why subaru seems happier and more emotional in general is cause this is a year into his purge king reign where he hasn't really cemented himself as a well known threat and thus not being extremely paranoid of assassination attempts

He is mainly known as the guy who likes killing people

His current kill count is about 10k which is alot but cause the witch cult and other threats are around with alot worse kill counts they don't prioritize him

This also just a short chapter to test a new style im aiming towards in dialogue hope y'all enjoyed
