Chapter 2

"Johnnie." I gasped. "There they are!" Olivia shouted at the group of youtubers just ahead. "Yea." I said while I was still staring at him. He was the most amazing thing I had ever laid my eyes on. "What are you staring at?" Olivia asked me while trying to scope out what had my attention. "Nothing." I said quickly and embarrassed. I looked away and fought the urge to look back. "We are next in line." Olivia pointed out with a gasp. "I wish you would stop being loud directly in my ear." I joked. Olivia gave me a look and pushed me. I pushed back harder and we started to laugh. "It's our turn!" Olivia shouted. I stepped away from her to lessen her scream. "You're not wrong." Jordan Sweeto laughed. Olivia ran and hugged him. He chuckled at her excitement. She hugged everyone while I stood awkwardly. Damon Fizzy looked at me funny. "No hug from you?" He asked. I shook my head and smiled. "Sorry I was thinking." I laughed and hugged him. Austin Jones held out his hands and I hugged him next. "I'm offended that I wasn't first." Jordan said trying to be completely serious. "Not as offended as me. I always come first." Johnnie said while he tried not to laugh. I walked over to Johnnie and hugged him tightly. I didn't realize how tight it was until he hugged me back tighter. He laughed and hugged tighter again. "Is this a competition?" He asked in a laugh. "It might be." I laughed and hugged tighter. I pulled away after a few more tight squeezes. Jordan then hugged me. "I brought you something." Olivia said and handed out some things she got for them. "Thanks." They all took turns saying. "Sorry I'm not Santa." I joked with a shrug. They laughed. "You're pretty cool." Bryan laughed. "I'm not cool I'm hot." I joked with a straight face. Johnnie laughed and nodded with a shrug. I blushed and looked away. "Do you guys wanna do something after Warped?" Bryan asked us. "Meeting." Olivia said and tugged me. We turned around with a laugh. "I wanna go, but what about my mom?" Olivia asked. "I'll handle it." I said and took Olivia's phone. I dialed her mom's number. "Hey mom. Abby's cousin lives in North Carolina and wants to see her. Can we go home with her and meet you back at the hotel in the morning?" I said when she answered. "I guess that's okay. Abby's dad called and agreed that we could stay for a week. I'll see you tomorrow. I love you." Olivia's mom said. I said I loved her back trying to sound like Olivia and hung up. "Sure we will go." Olivia said happily. "We kinda have to leave Warped with security so we can leave and then come pick you up somewhere." Jordan offered. "I will drive to the coffee shop about thirteen minutes away. Just walk there and I'll come get you guys. It's called Not Just Coffee." Johnnie said and looked at everyone in agreement. "That's sounds good." Olivia said with a voice crack. "Out of all these people why us?" I asked. "I'm not sure. Something is different about you and I wanna figure it out." Johnnie said. I blushed and looked away. "Shit. I just thought they were hot and funny." Byran joked. It's been hard to imagine myself as hot for a while. A few days before Warped Tour and my birthday my boyfriend of almost two years left me. I guess I saw it coming. He stopped trying to talk to me and every time I invited him to do something he wouldn't come. Sometimes I thought it was getting better, but then I would feel alone again. Finally I told him how alone I was feeling, and he got defensive and left me. I haven't been truly happy since. Maybe that's what Johnnie will figure out. Maybe that's what I'm afraid of. "Abby, what are you thinking about?" Olivia asked. "Nothing." I said and jerked myself out of deep thinking. "Well there are more people in line so we will see you there?" Johnnie asked. "Yea." I said and hugged everyone. "We just got invited to hang out with youtubers!" Olivia exclamied. "We did." I agreed. "You told my mom we were spending the night with your cousin. Where are we gonna sleep?" Olivia asked. "I guess we will stay with them until they say we should go and figure it out from there." I told her with a shrug. "Okay well let's go catch Set It Off." Olivia said and we ran to their show.
"Hey guys!" Olivia said as the boys from My Digital Escape pulled up. "Hey, I never caught your name." Jordan said to Olivia. "Olivia." She said with a huge smile. "We caught your name already, Abby." He said and turned back around from the drivers seat. Johnnie sat in the passenger seat, Damon in the very back where the truck area was, and Bryan in the seat beside me. I couldn't help but notice Johnnie glancing at me every so often in the rear view mirror. "Where are we going?" Olivia asked. "To a cabin in some woods so we can rape and kill you." Bryan joked. "Oh that's nice." I joked back. "If I like it is it rape?" I jokingly asked. "Counter rape." Johnnie joked and laughed. He winked at me and turned around. "Gross, imagine being raped by an eighty year old man and then shouting counter rape." I laughed. "You are so messed up, like me." Jordan laughed. "It's her specialty." Olivia chimed in. "We were thinking that maybe we could go the beach." Damon said. "Two hours away?" I asked. "Yea, why not?" Johnnie asked. "I say yes." Olivia said. "Since I'm not about the skinny dipping life we can stop at Walmart and get some swimming stuff." Damon said. A few minutes later Jordan pulled into a Walmart. "Get in." Johnnie said to me and pulled up a shopping cart. "Are you serious?" I asked in a laugh. "Yes get in the fucking cart." He said. I got in and he took off toward the store with me in the shopping cart. I threw my hands in the air and closed my eyes. I let the wind blow around my hair. In that moment nothing could hold me back. When we got to the store I got out of the cart and we waited on the others. "So where are y'all staying?" Johnnie asked. "Uh we kinda lied to her mom so were just gonna find somewhere." I admitted. "You can stay with me. I mean us." Johnnie rambled. "You know, because we're gonna be up really late from going to the beach and all." Johnnie explained. "Yea." I said and blushed. "I'll stay. I mean we will stay." I said quickly. "I don't think I've ever seen Johnnie run that fast." Bryan laughed. "Abby looked like she was on the Titanic." Damon joked. "This coming from the guy who calls himself DeeFizzy." I joked. "Ouch." He joked back. "That was my cardio for the whole rest of the year." Johnnie joked. "Shopping is my cardio." Olivia said quoting a shirt she has. Everyone gave her a long stare. "Tough crowd." She joked and walked inside. We all followed her in laughter. Damon shot a reckless grin before speaking. "Everyone go find a swimsuit and we will meet back at the dressing rooms."
