Chapter 4

Everyone got out of the car and ran for the sand. The boys screamed and ran crazily while Olivia and I skipped with our arms linked. When we got to the sand the boys started rolling in it. Olivia and I watched and laughed. Jordan ran to Olivia and put her on his back. He carried her to ocean and jumped back so she would fall in. She got up and tackled him. Everyone else ran to the ocean while I laid out towels and set the snacks Damon bought on one of the extra towels. I turned to get up and Johnnie was walking toward me. "I thought you ran to the water." I said as I stood up. "I decided to come back and wait on you." He said. I noticed his trunks were wet but not his hair. "Didn't wanna mess up the hair?" I asked jokingly as we walked to the water. "I'm about to." He defended. "Let me." I said and tussled his hair. "No! Fuck you!" He laughed. "If your lucky." I joked and ran to the water. He chased after me and pushed me in. I grabbed him and pulled him with me. A wave knocked me over and I ended up a good ways away from everyone. "Abby?!" He shouted. "Over here." I coughed. He swam to me as quick as he could. "You okay?" He asked. "Yea." I said and threw my hair in a bun. We got to shore and turned to go back to everyone else. Jordan and Olivia contained to play fight and Bryan held Damon in a headlock playfully for some reason I don't know. "Guess everyone is occupied." Johnnie pointed out. "I think Olivia is into Jordan." I said and nodded at them. "How much you wanna bet they will have made out before tonight is over?" Johnnie asked. "I'm not betting cause I know it's true." I laughed. "Damon is getting pretty close to Bryan's dick. Maybe they'll have sex." Johnnie joked. "A gay love affair is stirring right under our noses Johnnie." I joked back. He laughed and stepped closer. We noticed Bryan shoving Damon under water. "Maybe he likes it rough." I joked. "I just about pissed my fucking pants." Johnnie laughed. "That's the goal." I laughed. "Maybe I'll make you pee." He challenged. He smiled and started ticking me. I squirmed and went under so he couldn't tickle me. When I came up a tiny part of a wave knocked me forward. Johnnie caught me by my arms and didn't let go. He stared at me for what felt like forever. Unexpectedly he kissed me. "I'm sorry." He said as he pulled away. "Don't be." I assured him. "I guess Olivia and Jordan should've made that bet about us." Johnnie joked. "I guess so." I giggled. "GET IT JOHNNIE BOY!" Bryan shouted. "SHUT UP YOU DICK!" Johnnie shouted in a laugh. I blushed. "ABBY COME HERE NOW!" Olivia shouted. I made my way to shore and she did too. "You just fucking kissed Johnnie Guilbert!" Olivia whispered excitedly. "No Johnnie Guilbert just fucking kissed me." I laughed. "You guys are my OTP." Olivia joked. "You and Jordan is my OTP." I joked back. "You noticed? Is it that obvious that I like him?" Olivia asked. "It's apparent you like each other." I pointed out. "You think he likes me?" Olivia asked. "So does Johnnie." I added. "Really?" She asked. "Really." I assured her. "Guys! Get back in." Damon shouted. We turned and got back in. "Abby can we talk?" Johnnie asked. "Johnnie we all wanna hang with her." Bryan joked. "It'll only take a minute." He assured and lead me to shore and then over the dunes. "Abby, I'm sorry if kissing you made you feel awkward." Johnnie said and flipped his bangs. "You didn't." I said not meeting his eyes. "I know we just meet but I just couldn't help it. You're really cool." He said while taking my hand. I was speechless. He moved his hand to my cheek and whispered. "Can I?" I couldn't speak. I nodded. He leaned in slowly and kissed me again.
