One month.
According to the last pill I just popped out of my birth control pack, almost four solid weeks have passed.
"Last one." I sigh, tossing the package into the bathroom waste bin.
Not that I've needed them. Sebastian and I haven't gone there. We've just been enjoying one another's company in a nonsexual way. Not that I'm against it. I am certainly not against it. But I'm not sure how to initiate it either.
"Last what?" Sebastian asks from in the room.
I place the small pill in my mouth, sticking out my tongue to show him as I approach the table.
"Aw, that sucks. All the sex we've been having will have to come to an end." He jokes, placing a card on his game of solitaire.
I breathe quiet laughter, dry swallowing the pill and taking a seat across from him.
"Now the breeding will commence." I say in a haunted announcer voice, wiggling my fingers.
Sebastian is already smiling before he looks up at me, shaking his head.
"You and the breeding. Kink of yours?" He taunts, and I squeeze my thighs together.
The imagery of being forced to breed with him in this close quarters cellar is unwelcome yet welcome at the same time. Us. Having sex. Repeatedly. Raw. Everywhere. All the time.
"That a yes?" He laughs, kicking my leg beneath the table.
"Uh, wha-" I swallow, shaking my head. "No, it's not. I mean, I don't want to have kids."
Even a scenario of pretending I'm being impregnated doesn't actually appeal to me when I think about it. It's just the part where I'd be pounded by a beautiful man with dreamy eyes that sounds good.
"Really?" He sounds intrigued by that, placing another card down on his solo game.
"Yeah, not a fan. Too much responsibility. Very little freedom after you have one. They need you for everything. Plus the entire process of carrying and birthing a freaking human is wild." I ramble a bit, suddenly quite turned off by the breeding idea. "And neither of us had great childhoods, right? Why subject an innocent baby to the plagues of being raised by two traumatized adults."
"Interesting that I'm the father of your child in this hypothetical." Sebastian lays a card on the table, lifting his eyes to mine with a smug little smirk on his lips.
"Well, yeah, cause, I mean if we're playing off of the breeding idea-"
"Think he'd let us out if you were?" He interrupts, saving me from trying to backtrack.
He's back to casually playing Solitaire, not looking at me. I really can't tell if he's being serious.
"Hard to say..." My leg begins to bounce beneath the table.
Is he actually considering that?
No way, it's just talk.
"Not like there's a trained doctor on site." He ponders, placing another card.
"Yeah, probably not..." Filthy images of him fucking a baby into me are making it painfully hard to speak. "Um, he might."
"Add it to the idea board?" Sebastian teases, looking up at me again.
"Sure." I laugh, nervously.
"Get Harper pregnant." He pretends to scrawl it onto his palm.
I don't hate that mischievous look he gives me, like he would pounce on me right now if I gave the go ahead.
