"Be still!" I laugh, playfully smacking Sebastian in the back of the head.

"Ow." He complains, looking at me from the corner of his eye. "I can do this myself, you know." He rests a hand on my wrist, lowering it and the razor I hold. "I've been shaving for quite some time."

"Yeah, but you said I could." I pout.

He rolls his eyes, and I swear he does it in an impossibly sexy way. But he releases my hand and stretches his neck again, offering me the space to continue.

"Yay!" I cheer, then refocus on my task.

There isn't much to do down here. We've almost cleared the entire bookshelf at this point, especially since I had already read some of them. So I'm entertaining myself by ridding Sebastian of his overgrown facial hair. It wasn't too surprising when an electric razor was dropped off with lunch the day after the camera removal. What was surprising is that we didn't receive any backlash for flushing it. I've been more than a little on edge about it, halfway expecting the captor to gas us every time those chains rattle and the doors are opened.

I had begun zoning out a little, which is not the best thing to do when holding a razor to someone's neck. It's not a straight razor though, just one of my pink handled ones. But Sebastian winces, and I stop everything I'm doing. I visually search for a spot of blood from nicking him with the razor, but don't see anything. So I shift my gaze to him with big eyes.

As a sly smile overtakes his mouth, I smack his arm for tricking me. We're already done with the electric razor, which cleared off most of it, but he's been quite impatient with me doing this part. Which, considering how clumsy I can be, is understandable.

"Fine, you do it." I stick my tongue out at him.

Sebastian takes the razor, then licks my tongue. I retract mine, making a face that indicates that was gross. But it wasn't really, his tongue has been in my mouth anyways. Sebastian and I were both already on the weird side as far as personalities go, and now, with all of this isolation, we're even weirder. But it's actually quite fun, not having to filter it and just being who we are. Together. Yeah, I'm really fond of that 'together' part.

"I like being weird with you." I tell him, pulling myself up on the counter to watch him finish.

He smiles at me again, rinsing the razor in the sink before putting it back to his neck.

"That's probably the cutest thing you've ever said." He compliments, pausing to kiss me.

I gladly accept, pecking him once more before allowing him to resume shaving.

"Hey, did you hear breakfast?" I ask, just realizing we haven't received it yet.

We started our day a little earlier than usual, I think. But then again, the only thing that indicates what time it is down here is our meal deliveries. It feels like this one is late, though.

Sebastian lifts his brows, shaking his head slightly to say he didn't.

"Hm." I hop down, leaving the bathroom.

I'm on my way to check for it when I hear something that stops me in my tracks.

Birds.

My face falls and my lips part in utter disbelief. I can see the soft morning light filtering in from the top of the staircase, even though I'm not close enough to actually see outside.

No way. Is it...

I take a careful step forward.
