Chapter 17- Alex

Today the boys had a free day, no shows, no interviews, no meetings, no recording or writing sessions just a free day. 

Most of the boys decided to go out and do stuff except for Louis who had a cold and Calum who just didn't want to go out. I didn't want to go out either because I'm not a fan of being in public unless I had to be and I didn't have to be so I decided not to go. 

After about an hour of singing along to random songs on my phone and hanging on social media, I got bored and decided to hang out with one of the boys. When I found Louis he was sleeping so I couldn't do anything with him. I sighed knowing Calum could be anywhere because he likes to hide. He wasn't in his bunk or in the kitchen. He wasn't outside and he wasn't practicing his bass so I decided to check the back room. I found him there and smiled.

"Hey Cal!"

He looked up at me and smiled back.

"Hey Alex."

He patted the seat beside me and I glady went and sat beside him. I could hear he was skyping someone. I sat down and smiled when I saw who it was.

"Ally!"

I smiled when I saw the blonde. Ally is Luke's younger sister. Shes younger only by a year and she was supposed to come with us on this tour but she got sick and had to stay back with her parents. I try to skype her with Luke when he skypes her everday but I usually don't get a chance because Niall likes to take me with the park or the others need something. 

"You guys know each other?"

"Yeah. Ally is Luke's younger sister. Her and I became best friends while Luke and I were dating. The real question is why are you randomly skyping each other? The last time you guys were together you both weren't very close."

Ally and Calum looked at each other confused.

"Wait..Luke didn't tell you?" Ally asked me.

I nodded my head. What didn't Luke tell me?

"Oh..well than I think you better wait for Luke to tell you."

I nodded still confused. I talked with them for about an hour or two before Louis called me, so I said goodbye and went over to where Louis was now in the kitchen.

"What's up Lou?"

He ended up needing me to make him food because he didn't know how so I made him mac & cheese then went back to my bunk and logged onto my laptop watching youtube and stuff. Once the boys got back I went out and gave everyone a hug and Niall a hug and a kiss on the cheek, then brought Luke with me.

"Okay Luke. I was skyping Ally with Calum earlier and I didn't know why they were randomly skyping and they wouldn't tell me because you were supposed to tell me. So please tell me."

Luke looked down and thought for a moment. Then looked up at me with a look in his eyes I'd never seen before and didn't know how to describe it.

"Uh...Ally and Calum are...dating."

I looked up, mad. Ally promised she wouldn't date her brothers band mates because I didn't want what happened to me to happen to her. Luke and I didn't want to break up we had to. Managment made up because we were too close because my brother was band mates so I was always with him a distracted the band. Knowing Luke was just as protective of Ally as Michael is of me I didn't think he would let this happen.

"Luke! She's just going to get her heart broken because managment is going to tear them apart Luke! You know it will happen to her just like it did to us!"

I sighed and hugged Luke who was looking a bit sad. He came into the hug and I felt his tears fall onto my shirt.

"A-Alex what do I do!? I don't wanna make them break up but I know they're going to have to! I wasn't thinking about that when I gave Cal the okay! I'm such a bad brother."

I moved his head and looked into his eyes.

"Luke. You are not a bad brother. You just weren't thinking at the time. Just warn them about the situation and let them talk it out. If they decide to stay together, okay. If not, I'm there for Ally, and so is Ashton and you can always support her."

The boys and I just got back from having pizza and we were all doing random things. I smiled as I looked down at the charm bracelet Luke had gave me for our first month. It had a L charm, a penguin charm, a moon, a heart, and a infinity sign.

I smiled remembering the day he gave it to me. We were at a park about a mile from my house and we were talking about superhero's and watching some pigeons. He had looked at me with a bright look in his eyes and brought out the bracelet. It had started out with just the penguin charm because that was the first thing we had got for each other. Then every new place we went we looked and got a new charm. We had hoped to get the most charms on tour but sadly managment didn't let us last that long. After about a year of dating they split us up, saying I was too distracting for Luke and that it wasn't going to work out. 

That night I had done the same thing I'm doing now. Going through the box of stuff he had gotten me and pictures that were taken. We both had one. He went through it alot more though. It breaks my heart going through this because I really do love Luke. Not in the couples kinda way though..I have Niall now. But I do love him.

I picked up my favorite picture of us. We dated before Michael and I started dying our hair so I still had my light brown hair with blonde highlights and I was on Luke's back wearing one of his shirts which is also in the box and me and him had the biggest smiles on, looking at something behind whoever took the picture. It was my favorite picture of us and we both have a copy in our boxes and I don't know about Luke, but it's my background on my phone and has been for a long time. No one cares they all know it's important to me.

I picked up the book and smiled as it was full of pictures, I went through the pages and smiled, not realizing the tears falling from my face until it was too late. These were such good memories that I never realized I missed until I looked at them again. I brought out the beanie Luke had given to me and put it on, smiling.

I never realized how much Luke actually means to me until now. I'm going to help him find the perfect girl now. I don't care how long it takes. Luke has to find the perfect girl for him if I get to have the perfect boy for me.
