Sassy Roommate

SO EVIE AND MAL were roommates and so were Jay and Carlos so I was given a different roommate. I walked with Doug as we walked to my new dorm. "Don't be nervous Tiamara is really nice, you'll love her." I nodded my head and he opened the door for me. 

"See you later Hadi." he walked away and I walked in fully to the room and was hit with a heavenly smell. I looked to my right to see a beautiful girl in green. She smiled at me, "Hi, I'm Tiamara, but my friends call meh Tia, I made ya Beignets." I dropped my bags on the unoccupied bed.

"Hey, I'm Hadi it nice to meet you." She pushed the food towards me, and I carefully took a bite, just incase she might poison me. "Girl just eat the damn thang, I ain't gonna poison ya!" She grabbed one and ate it and I began to chew.

Sitting on the bed I rubbed my hands on my legs. "Well I'll stay out of your way, you probably don't want to associate yourself with a VK," I shrugged as I opened one of my bags and began to unpack.

It was quiet for a bit until I turned around I was shocked to see her in my face, "We are now friends wether you like it or not, I do't. give a shit about you being a vk, so how about we get food and get to know each other."  She opened the draw next to her bed and took out a food menu. "Choose whatever you want, they will bring it to the room." I nodded and looked through the menu.

When the food arrived it looked delicious. We sat at the table by the with the food and she smiled at me and placed my food in front of me. "So tell me about your life one the isle." And I did, I told her some of the low scale things I've done. And then we began to discuss her family and her life here. I smiled as she talked about here family. We did exactly that we had order. "Wow your mom sounds amazing." I said as I ate some of this chicken, never had something like this before. "Yeah she's awesome, what about your mother," I kind of shut down at the mention of her. 

"You don't have to tell me, I don't want to over step." I nodded my head. It was night time since we began to talk. Then there was a knock at the door. Walking over to the door I was met with the smiling face of Evie. "Come on girlie we are meeting in the boys room, let's go." I was confused and I waved bye to Tiamara and followed her to the guys room.

When we entered I saw Jay stuffing random stuff in his duffle and Carlos playing a game on the huge tv in their room. I sat next to  Carlos and tuned into the conversation behind me, "Okay. So, you could do that, or you could leave all of this here and pick it up when we take over the world." Oh no not this crap again.

"You sound just like your mom." Evie said as she was looking at her nails and Mal touched her chest, "Thank you." I rolled my eyes and opened my book and looked at different spells and said, "Not a compliment sweetie." Jay was still stiffing from the corner of my eye, "You do it your way and I'll do it mine." 

And then I jumped from Carlos yelling, "Die, suckers!" I threw a slipper at his head, "Donn't be screaming like that its late." He threw it back and I dodged it and kept reading.  "Jay, come check this thing out. Man, It's awesome." NAd Jay flopped down next to me and I almost fell over and he shoved me over, but I snapped my fingers and water poured on his head, leaving me in laughing fits. 

"Guys! Do I have to remind you what we're all here for?" I rolled my eyes, and Jay says, "Fairy Godmother, blah, blah, blah. Magic wand, blah, blah, blah." I honestly didn't care and I continued reading, "Yeah what he said." Mal stood up abruptly and looked at us, "This is our one chance to prove ourselves to our parents. To prove that we are evil and vicious and ruthless and cruel. Yeah?" They all yeah'ed and I gave a none enthusiastic woo. 

"Evie, mirror me." Evie pulled out her gifted mirror from her mom and spoke the special words, "Mirror, mirror on the... in my hand, where is fairy godmother's wand... stand?" I looked over her shoulder as Mal exclaimed, "There it is!" I then sarcastically replied, "Seems a little close huh," Carlos nodded his head and said, "Yeah, zoom out."

"Magic mirror, not so close. Closer. Closer. Closer." I laughed so hard and went back to my book. "Can I go back to my game? I'm on level three." Before he could go back over Mal screamed, "Stop! It's in a museum. Do we know where that is?" I rolled my eyes at her volume, "A little louder Mal I don't think the school heard you."

"Shut up Hadi!" And I laughed more as Carlos typed on a laptop, " 2.3 Miles from here." He said as he turned it around. And without hesitation, she ran out the room, "Come on Carlos" I groaned as I walked after them. "Coming." he sighed.

After chasing after these neanderthals I call friends to the museum.We literally stood outside literally waiting for someone to do or say. "So we going in, going back, like it's late what er doing?" 

"Come on. Check your mirror." Mal said nudging Evie, "Is my mascara smudged?" I laughed at her and said, "Yeah a little, but where's the wand, use your mirror."  Evie made a 'oh' face, "Sure. This way." She pointed and then we saw a spindle wheel and jay started to laugh, "That's your mother's spinning wheel?" And Carlos added to the jive, "Yeah, It's kinda dorky."

Mal pouted and crossed her arms, "It's magic. It doesn't have to look scary. "Magic spindle, do not linger. Make my victim prick a finger." when she said the spell the guard turned his chair to the spindle. "Impressive." I chuckled and Carlos added, "I got chills."

"Ok I got this 'Prick the finger, prick it deep. Send my enemy off to sleep." The guard fell back into the chair and fell asleep. "And thats how you do it's Mal," I smirked and she rolled her eyes, now we had to open the door, "Stand back. And before I could say a say a spell Mal beat me to it, "Make it easy, make it quick, open up without a kick." And the doors flew open and Jay fell on his ass. I walked in and slow clapped pass Mal, "Wow you opened a door."

Evie led the way following the direction of the wand,"Come on, guys. Almost there." When we finally made it up the stairs we saw sculptures of our parents on display, which were very life like.

Evie:"Mommy?"

Jay:"Killer."

Carlos:"I will never forget mother's day again."

Hadi: "Wow they never get his hair right.

 Jay shoved us and said, "Well, the wand's not here. Let's bounce. Let's go." Evie wrapped her arm around me. We began to walk around and there was a sign that said where the wand was. Evie turned around to find Mal not with us. So she ran back to the gallery of villains and I heard her yell, "Hey, I found the wand. Let's go. Here it is." The boys and I were already standing in front of it when they arrived. 

I looked through my book to see if I could find a spell but the Jay brought my attention away from my book. "Whoo!" Hey started to reach for the wand and my eyes blew up, "Jay, don't! Wait, no! No! Don't! Ah!" He went to grab it and the alarm went off, making us cover our ears. "A force field and a siren?"

"That's just a little excessive." I slapped the back of Jays head, "If you waited I would've used a spell, never mind let's go!" We all ran out and I stayed back as I saw Carlos working his magic, he answered the phone, "Hello? Uh, uh, just give me one second. One second. Uh, yeah, yeah. No, false alarm. It was a malfunction in the, uh, in the 714 chip in the breadboard circuit. Yeah. Okay. Say hi to the missus."

I laughed at him, "Come on Carlos, good job." I gave him a pat one his back. "Way to go, Jay." Mal said to him and I groaned, "Yeah, now we have to go to school tomorrow. I wanted to sleep in!" We ran away from the museum back to the school. 

Getting back to my room, I slowly opened the door. Trying to be as quiet as possible I was startled at the lights switched on, I jumped and snapped my head to the source and saw Tiamara sitting in her pjs with her arms cross.

"And where have you been," she said tilting her head. After my heart slowed down, I kicked off my shoes, "Was at Mal and Evies, why are you still up?" I want and found my pjs and went and got change. "Well I was worried about you." I stuck out my bottom lips and peaked at her from the bathroom.

"Aww you were worried, well I'm touched." Sitting on my bed, a pillow went flying to my head, but I caught it and sent it back. "Well I'll show you around to your classes gets some sleep." She said as she shut the light off. I just let out a loud groan and closed my eyes, SCHOOL tomorrow yay.
