Cassandra and Lennard drive Persephone to the airport where Vladimir's jet was stationed ready to be packed and flown back to the mansion. The airport staff opened the gate where Vladimir's jet was, letting them through. The staff helped to quickly move all the boxes from her parent's car to the plane.
"God I have been mentally preparing for this moment for weeks and now the time is here. We are going to miss you baby girl. Please come and visit as much as possible," Lennard says embracing Persephone tightly. "Vladimir please take good care of her and protect her," he says giving Vladimir a pat on the back.
"I will protect her with my life," Vladimir says sweetly.
"We will come back to visit. I Promise." Persephone sniffles.
Cassandra cries softly into the hanky Vladimir gave her at the house. She embraces her daughter and Vladimir in a tight squeeze.
Athena is next to clamp onto Persephone with tears streaming down her face "I'm going to miss you so much sissy."
"I'm going to miss you too. Please be careful," Persephone pleads referring to her sister's almost oopsie.
Vladimir smiles as Jackson and Maria are escorted to them. They hug her tightly, pulling Vladimir into the hug with them. Vladimir pats Jackson's back as a comfort measure. After a five minute hug fest between everyone again they reluctantly separate.
"Are you ready to go baby?" Vladimir asks, laying a hand on her shoulder.
She nods quietly, drying the tears under her eyes. This was it she was going to move away from everyone and everything she knew willingly this time and start her new life with Vladimir.Hopeful things go more smoothie moving forward. She was going to be seeing her therapist in person and spending some quality time with Vladimir in a setting where there was no prying eyes to be perfect like here.
They turn and start up the stairs of the plane leading inside the side door of the jet. They take the couch like seat across from Edgar and Sabrina who were flying back with them since they were going to the same place.
Persephone looks out the window watching her family hugging each other and waving good bye. As the plane moves onto the main runway her family gets further from view. Once their image is gone and they are in the air she looks at Vladimir.
Vladimir catches her long face and shoots a concerning stare at her "Are you ok darling?"
"Yeah I'm ok," sha shakes her head wanting to talk about something more upbeat. "So when is the concert?"
"It's actually Friday night. The venue is a 20 minute commute without traffic but with traffic it will most likely be an hour and a half," Vladimir says pushing a strand of her hair back.
"Ok. Can't wait."She winced at the curtness of her voice. She didn't intend for it come out that way but she was holding back the nausea she had in her stomach.
"How about you take a nap? You look a little pale."
"Don't have to tell me twice." Persephone adjusts to lay down on the seat and laying her head onto Vladimir's lap.
His fingers instinctively move to her hair stroking the silky strands in long slow strokes to the pool of hair draped on his thigh. Vladimir hums a lullaby to soothe her. He could sense the nervousness within although he wasn't one hundred percent sure of what had her rattled. He thought it was linked the permanence of moving from her home but it could also have been that their relationship just got more serious. Regardless of which one it was he was going to pound her into relaxation as soon as they were settled at home.
Persephone listened to the playful banter between Sabrina, Edgar as Vladimir's voice lulled her. She tried to keep her eyes open as long as possible but not to long she lost to weight of her lids and fell into a deep slumber.
