The next couple days passed by in an instant it seemed. Wednesday Persephone's parents transferred everything from her old phone to the one Vladimir had given her. Later that night Persephone stood by her artwork at her schools gallery student exhibition. She answered questions that guests had as they admired her work. Vladimir, Athena and her parents of course showed up and stuck by her after they made their round to look at everyone else's work.
Friday was her recital where she performed an original song she wrote about her experience during spring break. Her professor gave her a pass to change what she originally wrote. They worked together to get her caught up to everyone else in class and the final result was better than the first piece she was going to perform.
Persephone throws away the dead petals from her huge bouget of roses that Vladimir gave her last night after her recital. Her phone chimes and she is quick to view the message "Hey gorgeous, I can't wait to see you tonight. I have a surprise for you and it should be there shortly." Vladimir's message stares at her and she wonders what the surprise could possible be. She would ask him but he won't tell her.
She snags a quick shower then slides into sweat pants and one of Vladimir's T-shirts that she asked him for. She wanted to enjoy the comfortable clothing before she is all dolled up for hours.
"Persephone someone is here for you," Cassandra's bellows.
Persephone's heart races and she flies down the stairs to see Sabrina standing in the living room with dress bag draped over her arms and a box on wheels like a cooler next to her shoes.
"Surprise!" Sabrina sings.
Persephone rushes ot her and embraces her in her arms "How did you get here? Why?"
"Vladimir had his private jet pick us up. He figured that you would be happy to have me here. The best part is we will be staying until he leaves to go back to California," Sabrina explains.
"This is th best surprise in the world. I can't wait to see what the dress looks like."
"I really out done myself this time. I think I have surpassed your blood moon ball dress by quite a bit. Vladimir is going to drop dead," Sabrina exclaims.
Persephone looks at her mom "Oh mom this is Sabrina. Sabrina this is my mom."
Sabrina smiles "Well I can see where your good looks came from Persephone." Sabrina gives Cassandra a quick hug "Pleased to meet you Mrs. Mellows."
"Thank you Sabrina and please call me Cassandra." Cassandra smiles sweetly at the girls. "Why don't you guys get upstairs to get ready. I'll see you once you are finished."
Persephone helps Sabrina up the stairs into her room. She closes her bedroom door then watches Sabrina lay the dress bag down on her bed.
"Alright first thing I want to tackle is your hair. You showered already which is helpful. Ill blow dry your hair then style it. She pulls out a blow dryer and curling iran and plugs them into the wall. Sabrina pulls out a portable vanity light bar and stick sticks it to the mirror then drags Persephone onto the stool in front of the mirror.
"Alright so it's three niw and Vladimir said he was getting you at 7:30pm so I have roughly 4 hours to work my magic." Sabrina sets started immediately not wanting to waste precious time. She works feverly to style the crimson strands.
Once she is happy with her job on the hair she pulls out the makeup she planned on using on Persephone. Sabrina gets to work on the eyes first. She switches between three colors on her eyeshadow palette, blending the colors seamlessly together. She applies eyeliner and lashes then works on her base making sure to get the correct match and that she won't get flashback when she gets her picture taken. Sabrina stands back and admires her handiwork.
