(F/c– Fur colour)
Set in a magical world in which an individual's position within society is defined by their power and skill with magic. Demi humans once roamed alongside other humanoid races, they faced extinction thousands of years ago. While these beings possessed human-like qualities, they were distinct from more bestial races. Despite their once-thriving existence, various factors led to their decline, including wars, diseases, and environmental changes. Over time, their populations dwindled until there was no single sight of their existence...
However, that changes in the current year.
There is only a single demi human standing, and it's not something you'd expect...And it's the–
Bunny...
Wait, a bunny? A f/c bunny? But it's an animal...?Wrong, narrator!
Hehe, hello there!
I'm...Uh, I don't know...My name.
I'm just a bunny, y'know. Hopping aroun'. Alone. Trying to find food to survive...Running from hungry predators...I don't remember how I ended up alone. No one to come home to.
I always think other rabbits have the same mindset as me. But I feel like I think differently...
I miss where I came from. Everything's so lonely out there. But I'm not afraid! I'm a strong bunny!I'm a...Strong bunny. I guess.
I'm tired.
It started to rain, my ears drooped as the droplets of water hit my tail– I hate getting my tail wet! I don't care about other parts of my body, but the tail being wet is a no!
I hop towards the nearest big tree, staying underneath the tree for shelter. A shiver ran down my spine at the cold breeze hitting me. I lie down, my paws pointing forward, my rear legs stuck out sideways.
I put my head against the ground, watching the raindrops for a bit...Before I started to drift off into a slumber.. . .
There I sat, on a human's lap. Grinding my teeth as a sign of purring as they caress my fur. I love this life! I've been eating so well ever since this human adopted me.
Lalalala, I love humans!
I love food!
I love life!
I love–
!!!
I blinked. Realizing it was all a dream. So I wasn't adopted?!
Ridiculous! My human didn't feed me raspberries? They didn't caress my fur like I wanted them to?Utterly rid–
...
Why is...
What happened to my paws? Why do I have...Five...Sticks on my paws? What's going on?Uhm– W–what happened to my...Legs...Whu–what's happening?! Is this another dream? It must be! Where's my fur? Are my ears– oh, they're still there.
My tail?!
The...They're still there...Am I even real?
I have long legs...Like humans...Uh...
A–am I...Am I a human? No, it can't be.I was a bunny!
. . .
He found himself in a Difficult situation. Trying to get used to this new humanoid body of his...It was rather confusing. He always questioned himself the same thing– 'Why am I a human?'
Will he be able to even live like this? As a human? Or...Well, a demi human. He can't even fix into small spaces anymore.
. . .
The boy pressed his knees against his chest, ears drooping.
He stares at the reflection of himself in the pond. He was very much different. And he kind of misses his old self...Even though he still has the same 'abilities' in his new body. He even struggles to stand and walk as humans do.He traced the two strange lines on his face, he saw a human once– a hunter, who had the same lines...But only singular. What does it mean? He doesn't know. Humans are confusing.
"Look up!"
His ears perked at a rustling sound, coming from a nearby bush. However, what he didn't see is that...His reflection from the pond stayed there, staring directly at him with a smile.
He tried to get up but stumbled, backing away, fearing that a predator might be lurking.
Until a figure emerges...In front of him, an elderly man with a long beard stood.
The little boy didn't know what to say– or, it's more like he didn't know how to speak. He couldn't form words. As the elderly man laid eyes on the specimen, his breath caught in his throat. It was a surreal moment, seeing a creature long extinct. His mind raced with disbelief and confusion.
'A...Demi human?' The elderly man thought to himself. These creatures were extinct thousands of years ago– why is there...A child, who's definitely a part of the non-existent population of demi humans.
"Are you lost?" The elderly man spoke, his tone gentle. The boy opened his mouth, but nothing came out...But he forced himself to say something, "Not."
???
The boy himself didn't know what came out of his mouth...
"Puh...""I see." The elderly man walks over to the little boy, "There's no reason for you to be afraid...I will not harm you."
"Hu– hum...Human!"
Well, that's certainly right."Yes, I am a human..." He offered his hand to the little boy, "I promise, I will you. Please, trust me."
The boy stared at the hand, before hesitatingly grabbing it, the stranger helped him stand up. He did stumble but the man held him still.
The elderly man got onto his knees on the boy's level, grabbing his shoulders, "The world will see you differently if you were exposed to the naked eye. I will protect and keep you safe from others, alright?"
The boy tilts his head,"Do you understand me?" The boy proceeded to nod.
"Good. I'll introduce myself...
My name is...Wahlberg Baigan."
