A few weeks have passed, as the first semester at Beacon has concluded and a new one approaches. Everyone has settled into their school life and eagerly await the next semester and the approaching Vytal Festival in a few months.
For the leader of Team OOPM, he was so excited that he decided to skip lunch at Beacon and have lunch over in the city.
Onyx: Bwaahhhh! I am stuffed!
He shouts with joy as he rubs his belly.
Onyx: A nice little meal before I go back to class and sleep at Professor Port's stories again!
He places his hands onto the back of his head, displaying a relaxed expression as he turns the corner and bumps into someone.
Onyx: Ooh!
*SPLAT*
He hears something splatter on the floor which was followed by a thud.
Onyx: S-Sorry! I turned the corner too quick!
He explains himself as he extends a hand to the person on the floor.

But the girl was completely focused on the thing that was splattered next to her, which was an ice cream.
Onyx: Oh... oops.
The girl then turns back to him and pouts as he expects to be berated, but she remained silent.
Onyx: Are you... gonna berate me?
She then makes hand signs, which Onyx is familiar with.
Onyx: Oh! You're speaking sign language.
???: Yeah, I'm a mute.
Onyx: I'm sorry, for bumping into you just now.
???: It's okay, it's a blind corner so you wouldn't know. But you have to buy me another ice cream!
Onyx: Eh? S-Sure, I guess, but do you mind telling me your name?
Neo: My name is Neopolitan, but you can just call me Neo.
Onyx: Nice to meet ya, Neo! I'm Onyx!
He extend a hand out to her, which she graciously accepts as he pulls her up. She uses a tissue in her other hand to grab the ice cream and place it in a nearby trash bin.
Onyx: With introductions out of the way, let me go buy you another ice cream.
Neo nods excitedly as she grabs his arm and drags him.
Onyx: W-Woah! You don't need to drag me there!
Neo silently giggles as she continues dragging him.
