Maddie knows

My parents are standing talking to Bobby when Eddie and Christopher and I enter the fire station

They turn around

"What are you doing here" I ask and Bobby goes up the stairs

"Dad who are they" Christopher asks

"They are my/Buck's parents" we answer at the same time

"Evan, didn't I tell you not to hang out with him" says mom

"He has a name and his name is Eddie" I say

Carla enters the fire station

"Hey can you take chris to school" eddie tells her and christopher and her leaves

"No wonder he's the way he is if he has two dads" Dad says, looking disgusted

"Be careful what you say about my son" Eddie says in an angry warning tone

"Say what you want about me but don't you dare say things about my family" I yell at them

Eddie gives them the death glare but says nothing more

Then Bobby comes down the stairs
"It's probably time for you guys to go," says Bobby

"And don't even think about contacting me or Maddie again" I say and Bobby drives them out

I huff and me and eddie go to the changing rooms

"Eddie, I'm so sorry for what they said. Don't listen to them" I tell him

"Buck it's not your fault" he says and walks closer to me

We are so close now

I want to kiss him but we hug instead

We hug for a long time

"And I'm used to it because when your parents are Christians and being in the military, it's very against being allowed to love who you want" he says

Bobby knocks on the door and walks in and we let each other go

"Hey how are you too" Bobby asks

"It's okay" we reply

"Cap I'm sorry they came here I didn't know" I say

"It's not your fault buck, you can't take responsibility for their actions" Eddie says

"He's right buck" says Bobby

"But come on, it's breakfast" says Bobby and we go upstairs where the others are already sitting at the dining table.

**time skip**

After breakfast I go to the bathroom and I start having thoughts of hurting myself as I staring at myself in the mirror

Eddie's POV:

After breakfast buck goes to the toilet and he has been there for a while so I go there and knock on the door

"Buck are you okay" I ask

"Mmm" he says

"Buck, can you open the door" I ask him and he does and I go in and close the door

Buck stands at the sink with a razor blade in front of him

"Buck" I say carefully

"I didn't do it. I just thinking about it" he says

I walk up to him and hug him gently

He rests his head on my shoulder

"Let's go to the bunkers" I say and we get out of the toilet and go to the bed area and buck go to a bed and falls asleep immediately

Buck's POV:

** A few hours later**

I slept for an hour and then continued on my shift

then Maddie called and asked if we could talk and I said yes so here I am now in front of her apartment

I knock and Maddie opens the door and I go in

"Thanks for wanting to talk" Maddie says and we sit on the couch

"I just want to start by saying sorry" says Maddie

"I forgive you" I cut her off

She hugs me and I hug back but then I touch my cuts and I hiss between my teeth and I sit on the sofa

"Buck can I see your arms" Maddie says

I'm starting to panic

"What are you talking about Maddie" I say

"Buck, I've lived with you my whole life. I kind of raised you so I know when it's something" she says

I pick up my sweater arms and Maddie gasps when she sees the bandages on my arm

"Buck I thought you had quit" she says

"You're disappointed," I say

"No I'm not disappointed. Buck evan buckley I'm not disappointed I just want to know what made you relapse" she asks

"Our parents" I said quietly

"Oh buck" she says and hugs me

"It is bad again Maddie" I say

"Do you have a depression episode again" she asks and I nod

"Okay we'll contact-" she says before I cut her off

"No I'm fine, I can handle it" I say

"Okay but know someone else" Maddie asks

"Yes Eddie knows" I say

"Okay fine then call me or Eddie anytime you feel like you want to hurt yourself please let me" she says and holds out her little finger and I hold out my little finger

"I promise" I say but I don't know if I can keep it And we do pinky promises
