Chapter 10

We went to the mall, and I hated every bit of it, it was loud, messy and full of people, the three things I hated the most.

"Can we go somewhere quieter please?", I asked.

"Don't be such a baby."

"Why don't we go to the shop at the end of the mall? It's quiet and has very good stuff."

"Sure.", I agreed, but Sarah wasn't that happy.

When we arrived, Sarah wasn't that pissed anymore, I checked some jeans out.

I found a really nice pair of pants, but I wasn't sure as they were quite expensive.

"Do you like it?"

"Yeah, but look at the prize."

"You don't really want to try this ugly thing?", Sarah joined.

"I actually like it."

"Of course, you have no taste at all. Try this one.", she handed me another pair.

I tried it on, but it was tight and the fabric didn't feel good at all.

"Finally, you don't look like homeless freak."

"I don't feel good in it."

"Doesn't matter."

"I think it does.", Avan said and handed me the pants I wanted.

I looked myself in the mirror, it was pretty comfortable and fit perfectly.

"Doesn't suit you.", Sarah said.

"I think you look great."

"Whatever, I check the dresses the girls asked if we should meet later."

"Okay.", we said, and she left.

"I think it brings your ass out."

"I don't want it to bring my ass out."

"You should buy them."

"Really?"

"Yes."

I bought it and we got drinks in a café, Sarah kissing Avan, I was annoyed, I felt like the third wheel, but then I noticed something warm on my hand, he grabbed my hand under the table.

I tried to stay calm, it made me laugh.

"Hey girl!", Sarah's friends came over to our table.

"Are you ready for tonight?"

"Yes! Can't wait, my god, Mason is such a boring person, and has no taste."

'I can hear you."

"Whatever Missy."

"Have you found a new outfit?"

"Yes, a black mini skirt and a crop top."

"Isn't that a bit sexy?", Avan asked.

"Don't worry I won't cheat on you. Anyway let's go.", Sarah left with her friends.

"Am I that boring?"

"No, you're not.", he checked if they were out of sight, before he placed a kiss on my cheek.

"Can we go? It's awful in here."

"Sure. I know a place more for your taste."

We went to the city, in a tiny street there were a few small shops, a game shop, a man's wear shop, a souvenir shop, and a cozy restaurant.

"Oh, this is so pretty."

"Sorry for the awful day. Let me apologize."

"Not your fault."

"Where do you want to go first?"

"Game shop?"

"Sure."

They didn't have many games but very good ones, I even found one I always wanted.

"Should I pay?", he asked.

"No, it's fine, I have enough money left.", I smiled.

In the souvenir shop they had a few cute models of our city, one in a snow globe caught my attention. Sadly, I didn't have enough money to buy it.

We even went to the men's wear shop but I didn't buy anything.

"Want to eat something?"

"I would love to, but I am tired as hell, too much going on."

"Of course, no problem.", he kissed me.

"You really want to kill me, do you?", I smiled.

"Never."

This evening I went to bed exhausted, but happy. I loved how he cared about my wishes. I wanted to do a sleepover again, I missed it, but the following weeks Sarah didn't leave his side once. I remembered what my mom said, but I decided to enjoy the happy times, even if it could end bad.
