If your little one is regressed, you want to know how to treat them. you both will need to talk about this before regression. do not swear or use big words around your little. this can confuse them or upset them. even if you aren't patient, be patient with your little. they need to feel safe, this is their safe spot and you can't ruin it.
you will need to speak to your little (big space) about pet names, physical touch, activities etc. pet names are very common , but not all littles accept it. so do not use it right away. physical touch also needs to be allowed by the little. it doesn't matter if they allow it outside of little space, they need to allow it in little space. activities will need to be discussed to distract and entertain your little.
you, as a caregiver, are in control. don't take advantage of it. let your little feel like they are in control so they aren't being bossed around, but still have directions.
never yell at a little if they misbehave. correct them step by step. if it's common behavior, stay calm and redirect it, do not expect them to fully stop.
