Crow made his way back to his shared room with Angel. The spider demon slammed the door shut and looked back at Crow.

"Why would ya fight him Crow?! I told ya not to worry about it!" he yelled. Crow looked down slightly ashamed that he had upset Angel. But he definitely didn't regret what he did. Valentino got what was coming to him.

"She was right, ya know? He could come after us if he really wants to. And I know ya can protect the hotel and the residents, but that isn't the point." Angel Dust said.

"When I get back to the studio it's gonna be way worse for me. Even if he doesn't know we're dating. He'll take all his anger out on me!" Angel Dust took a seat on the bed facing away from Crow.

The torture demon tensed up. He had told Valentino all about him and Angel Dust's relationship. He may have only been trying to help but he ended up doing more harm than good. His lips had unnoticeably started quivering. He wasn't sure what to tell Angel Dust. Should he tell him? Maybe it wasn't a good time to. Eventually he found something to say after his mind had circled in a giant train of thoughts, trying to unscramble them.

"I wish you could just quit that job. Maybe I should have killed him. That way the deal could be undone." Crow stares down at his feet. Angel Dust is the only one who could really get to his head. The only one who could make him feel sadness, shame, remorse, absolutely anything at all.

"Good luck with that, ya forgettin' about Vox and Velvette? Oh and the other fuckers he has workin' for em!" Angel Dust stood up and glared daggers at Crow. "He has way more people on his side than you do Crow. Even the princess of hell alone can't beat em!" he was right about that. Charlie couldn't do anything by herself that was for sure.

Crow stood up. "I'm sorry. I'll leave you alone then." the overlord said before walking out of the room. Angel Dust sighed. Maybe he took it too far. But he wasn't about to admit that. He cuddled Fat Nuggets, closely. He was scared to go back to the studio.

Crow stepped outside of the room and went back to the lobby and sat at the bar. Husk was still awake and he had hoped that from his argument with Angel that nobody had been woken from their slumber.

"Looks like you fucked up big time eh?" Husk asked, taking a sip of his booze.

"Yeah, I did. Don't remind me." Crow said, not really wanting to talk about it. "Just give me some whiskey." he said, putting his head down. It was crazy to see such a powerful overlord like him, pouting over some petty fight like that.

Husk chuckled finding it hilarious. "Alright. Your limit is five shots. Then you can go pout somewhere else." he said.

He didn't reply. He was fine with five shots of whiskey. That was enough for him. Husk filled up a shot glass with the whiskey that Crow had requested. Crow was gonna cherish his shots so he wouldn't have to go back up there and face Angel right away.

He took a sip of the whiskey. "If you're gonna drink em like that, take a whole bottle and skedaddle." Husk said, sarcastically.

"Shut up. Just let me drink in silence." Husk was a bit surprised. Most people would go to the bar to talk and drink. But he wanted to drink in silence. It made sense. Monochrome was always pretty boring, especially on film. But Husk was actually not complaining.

"Fine by me." he sets the bottle down on the table. "I am heading to bed. Put the bottle back when you're done." he left.

Crow chugged the last swallow of his shot of whiskey and then filled the shot cup back up. He chugged that one down as well. He has three more shots to go, he wasn't trying to get a hangover after all. Just get a drink to calm his nerves. Five shots was fair enough.

It was already midnight by the time Crow had built the courage to go back to Angel. But he didn't want to wake him so he left the hotel and went back to his shop instead. What was he going to do if Valentino hurts Angel? Perhaps he could make an arrangement. He did have Vox and Velvette as allies. He would finalize a plan, the correct way. Even though he wasn't normally the one to negotiate.

It seemed he would need to step out of his comfort zone. It was for the sake of the hotel and Angel Dust after all.

Finally, another morning in hell. Crow flipped the sign on his shop. Today he was gonna have the shop closed. He needed a day to clear his head. And hopefully finalize a plan in order to officially put an end to Valentino and his abuse on Angel.

A part of him was thinking that he wouldn't be able to stop him. But he still wanted to have hope.

Valentino gritted his teeth in anger, listening to Vox and Velvette laugh at him after getting wrecked by Crow was starting the get to his head. It was clear that the monochrome man had managed to overpower him earlier.

He could take his anger out on a very special employee. The whole reason that fight went down in the first place. Angel Dust was totally gonna get it. If he couldn't get revenge on Crow, he would just hurt the most precious thing he has. The next shoot was gonna absolutely obliterate him from the inside out. Valentino chuckled to himself. This would be fun.
