"What is it?" Angel Dust asked, clearly worried for what the torture Demon was plotting.
"I'll take your place."
Angel Dust looked at Crow with a look of shock. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Crow was seriously going to negotiate with Valentino, and be his... Subordinate? That wasn't like Crow at all. He couldn't allow him to make a deal with him. Could Overlords even do that in the first place?
"No!" Angel Dust blurted out. He looked worried for Crow's well-being.
"Don't do it, please! You'll end up regretting it! This is stupid Crow!"
Angel Dust gulped. "You can't be serious! If you make a deal with him you'll be submitting to him! That's exactly what he wants! He wants to overpower you!" his words had no more meaning to Crow. All the overlord cared about was keeping the spider demon safe from that filthy moth.
He didn't care about putting himself in danger, then again, did he ever care about his own well-being to begin with? "I know. And that's exactly why it's the only way to save you." he said, black tears were falling from the overlord's eyes.
"Angel... Forget about me."
"You are fucking insane if you think I can just do that!" Angel snapped.
"Even if I didn't think you could, my sanity would still be questionable.. would it not?" Crow asked, attempting to change the subject. But Angel Dust wasn't going to be fooled.
"Don't you dare try that bullshit on me Crow. Think about this. Please!" The overlord remained quiet for a few minutes.
"I did. And it's a lot better than fighting him again. It's a lot better than putting you in more danger. I cannot make the same mistake twice. And besides, my rein as an overlord will end one way or another." Said Crow.

"They sure have been gone for a while now. Wonder what they are doing." Charlie said.
"I am not worried. Frankly I don't even want to know what those two are up to." Husk replied.
"I am just worried. You said Angel Dust panicked before going after him right?" Charlie asked, to which Husker just shrugged.
"Yeah I guess so. But I doubt it's that serious. Those two have been acting weird since they started living together." Husk said.
"I just hope that Crow is staying out of trouble." Vaggie muttered.
"Well he's fixing what he caused. Doesn't sound like he's causing any chaos.... Right Vaggie?" Charlie attempted to reassure her girlfriend.

"But it doesn't have to end now Crow! I-I can't lose you! You're all I have. I love you damn it!"
Crow's eyes had widened, if it were even possible. The entire time he was with Angel Dust. He had not once been told that he was loved. He only assumed that affection was all the proof he needed. But hearing those very words come out of Angel's mouth made him think even more about his decision.
He was truly at a loss for words. "Crow.... Say something you idiot!"
"I love you too Angel. And if you want me to stay. How am I supposed to sit back and watch you suffer?"
"I thought you liked watching people suffer. Isn't that why you fell in love with me?"
Crow clenched his fists. He pulled Angel Dust down to his height and looked him into the eyes. His lips press against Angel's inviting the spider into a passionate kiss.
"No. I fell in love with you because..."
