Watching 9-1-1 clips

Chapter 2

Once everyone has settled down the voice speaks out loud again "now the first video we will start with won't be too sad and will be more lighthearted and heartwarming" at that bucks gets less tense and more calm "the first video is about Maddie and bucks relationship and it is called The Buckley siblings | fix you". Maddie and buck look over and smile at each other. Maddie gently puts jee in chim's lap and moves to sit by her brothers legs on the floor. The screen starts to show the video

[the video starts showing Maddie saying " that's Daniel, He died he was our brother"  with tears in her eyes while it turns to Buck who is confused and shocked holding a picture of young Daniel]
Maddie grabs bucks hand in comfort knowing how hard this was for him and in return Buck holds tight to her.
[it shows younger Buck on his bike falling over to which a teenage Maddie runs to Buck and lifts him up before it turns to Maddie patching up his injuries while Philip Buckley walks in with pizzas to which Buck smiles to Maddie who raises a eyebrow and shakes her head]
Everyone smiles at seeing the two siblings young "awww look at you two your so cute" hen smiles while the other two blush but smile. "Buck I like seeing you around my age" Chris smiles up at Buck who smiles at both him and his sister.
[then it switches to adult Buck in his uniform to Maddie with tears in her eyes. Then Buck walking out of Maddie apartment as Maddie says "Evan please don't leave just talk to me" with tears in her eyes]
Maddie holds bucks hand tight knowing how hard this time was for him while Eddie also tightens his grip around bucks shoulders. The rest of the people in the room glance at Buck to check on him but he has his head in Chris's hair to try and distract himself. The video carries ok.
[then Maddie in the fire station as the fire truck leaves. Maddie talking to the Buckley parents saying "you disappeared into your grief  and let me and Evan to fend for ourselves. Then to the past where the younger version of the Buckley parents are arguing saying "I just wanted one thing to remember him by" while Margaret Buckley says "we live with a reminder everyday" as young Maddie is looking in a cupboard and young buck is in the stairs listening before he leaves]
"Your parents are horrible" Karen says not understanding how any parent could treat their own children in that way. Everyone nods their heads in agreement while Bobby and Athena glare at the screen in anger to the Buckley parents for acting like that especially to Buck who is their son in all but blood. "We managed and it's not so bad now" Buck says quietly so Maddie in response hugs him "it's because we have each other and all of them" in his ear. Buck shows a small smile which brightens when Chris hugs him tighter and Eddie brings him in closer.
[then back adult Maddie and Buck. Then to Maddie on the phone saying "I don't know mom I mean how do you tell somebody that you've been lying to them for their entire life]
Both Maddie and Buck wince at the words hating them even if they were true at the time.
[then young Maddie on the stairs with a voiceover of Maddie saying "he was seven when you were born" while it shows a bike saying Daniel on the back showing a picture of him on it before it shows adult Maddie continues "he was gone a year later that's why you don't remover him". It goes back to Maddie and buck young with Maddie helping a hurt buck]
"So even back then you were accident prone buckaroo" hen says to lighten the mood a bit which succeeds in making buck laugh. "You know me I can't stay out of trouble" Buck says laughing.
[then to adult Buck and Maddie with Buck saying "the world is a uncertain place Evan and you have to protect yourself" the same time as Margaret Buckley says to a younger Buck "we can't do it for you"]
"Bucky what did you do to your arm" Chris says seeing the cast on younger bucks arm "well I was not being as responsible as I probably should have been" answers buck with smile. "Awww you're cute at all ages Buck" Carla says to ease the tension in the room at the Buckley parent's words causing Buck to blush while Eddie smiles at Buck looking so beautiful.
[back to a teenage buck on his bike upset to older Buck (before 118) stuttering before he says car lights outside so he runs out the house with his parents yelling after him. Back to older Buck (in 118) cleaning with Maddie behind him saying "just wanted to make sure you were ok because you're not answering my calls". Back to teenage Buck saying "she's going to nursing school you should congratulate her" while his mother says "oh don't be stupid Evan this is not good news" so Buck leaves while Maddie says "do not talk to him like that" with Philip saying Evan]
"I'm sorry for acting like that towards you at the time Maddie it was wrong" bucks says with a shaky voice with his head down before he feels finger lifting his head to look at his sister "you don't need to apologise, you were upset and had every right to be anyway we are ok now" Maddie says gently pulling buck in to a hug with Chris still in his lap. The rest of the group let the Buckley siblings have their little moment with Chris in the middle before Athena breaks it to say "buckaroo promise me you will never let anyone be the way your mother was because she was wrong to speak to that way" which causes Buck to tearfully look her way nodding slowly to Athena who moves to also hug Buck along with Bobby so he can whisper into bucks ear "never listen to words like that and tell us if you do we will sort it out". Buck feeling overwhelmed just nods once everyone pulls away to go back to their seats and continue the video.
[then back to older Buck and Maddie. Just older Maddie with her parents show up with them saying "we tried" and Maddie replying "not hard enough"]
"Damn right" chin whispers furious at how buck and Maddie were treated by their parents in the past.
[it shows Buck in the 118 saying "us versus them that what we always said but it turns out it was the three of you against me the whole time" to Maddie who looks taken back]
Maddie looks down feeling guilt because that's what she never wanted Buck to feel and Buck seeing that puts his hand on Maddie shoulder in support. When she looks up he gives her smile to which she smiles back slowly.
[back to young Buck and teenage Maddie hugging after Buck fell off the bike to gown up Buck and Maddie standing opposite their parents. It shows just Maddie and her parents with Margaret Buckley saying "what were you thinking?" To which Maddie replies with "that my brother felt unloved"]
"Well you're not we all love you so much" Eddie says with meaning even if it's different to how the others feel it to which everyone nods and Buck blushes hearing Eddie say that.
[then to Buck and Maddie sitting down in the living room to them as teenagers sitting in a car with Buck saying "your leaving me!"]
"Never" Maddie says in confidence taking bucks hand from her shoulder back to her hand.
[then adult buck (before 118) leaving a hospital throwing something away and then to Maddie holding and reading a postcard from Georgia then from Virgina beach and then a postcard of Buck in contraction uniform. Then a card of Buck in the 118 which Maddie picks up while hurt and crying]
Buck gently lifts Chris in his arms to sit in his seat so that he can sit on the floor alongside his sister to hug her fully seeing the last card scene.
[then to Buck and Maddie sitting on the sofa together laughing and drinking wine to them in a kitchen with Buck trying to steal food but Maddie slaps his hand away]
Everyone laughs at that scene starting to feel more lighthearted at seeing those last two scenes while Buck pouts and Maddie openly laughs with everyone else.
[then to Buck and Maddie carrying bags walking to them at the 118 with Maddie giving Buck cake and chin clapping in the background and then to Maddie with tears in her eyes before looking thankful with Josh smiling putting his arm around her. Then Buck in a hospital bed to Buck and Maddie walking down the stairs to Bobby and Athena's house laughing with Buck pointing at her and Maddie nodding her head yes. Then to Buck holding cards looking at Maddie opposite him also holding cards both with serious faces. Then to then at a party dancing and going to the photo both to take funny pictures with props. A younger Buck and teenage Maddie are shown with Buck saying "promise" and Maddie holding pit her handing saying "promise" linking their pinkies to a more older version of the pair doing the same thing with Buck saying "promise" and Maddie saying "you can't get rid of me that easy". A adult Buck tearfully saying "you promise" and Maddie with tear in her eyes laughing holding out her pinkie which cause Buck to laugh]
Awww's and laughs ring out across the whole room at seeing the heartfelt and heart warming scenes with Maddie and Buck smiling still hugging each other.
[then in a voice over Maddie says "find the thing that makes you happy, the people that make you feel loved" while showing Buck walking into the 118 and then showing hen, Bobby and Athena, Chris and Eddie, a young Buck and teenage Maddie riding a bike]
There are happy tears appearing in everyone's eyes at the beautiful clips and words "we love you " Bobby says in with a smile. "Love you all too" bucks says cheerfully.
[then to adult Buck and Maddie standing next to each other in a side hug to Buck and Maddie laughing with others and then to Chris and may with a cake on the table for Buck. Then Maddie opening her door to Buck with bags in his hands before it shows them sparing. Chim spinning Maddie in a circle to Buck looking at the stacks of postcards he sent Maddie when he was travelling that she kept. It shows Buck and Maddie linking pinkies and then Maddie saying to Buck in different clip "no matter how hard it got I always had these. I always had you" while flicking through the postcards and a voiceover of Maddie saying "this is your time now Evan go find your place in the world and never look back" while showing a teenage Maddie fixing a bike for young buck who says "ready" after Maddie asks him]
The atmosphere in the room feels a lot more happier after seeing the last couple of clips before of the strength of the Buckley siblings bond. "Thank you for being my sister Maddie. I love you" buck says with a smile to which Maddie says back "and thank you for being my brother. I love you too" with tears of happiness appearing in her eyes. Suddenly the voice from before starts speaking which makes everyone jump forgetting about it "the next video will be a sad one so get yourself ready" at that everyone tenses especially Buck knowing he will have to relive some of the worst moments of his life with everyone seeing it to. Eddie seeing Buck tense puts his hand on his shoulder as an act of comfort for both himself and Buck. Everyone wanting to be close to Buck when the video starts moves to the floor to get closer to him.
