We arrived at Del's house and we grabbed our bags from the car before heading inside with Whiskey, who immediately began sniffing around.

Delphi went and found Ryan in the living room downstairs, who was already playing with Whiskey.

"We need a dog." Delphi complained from behind him, making him whip his head around as she scared him. "Pretty please??"

I would get her a dog.

"We'll think about it honey." Blake smiled at her daughter as she hugged her. "Oh, I've missed you so much. How's Brooklyn going, how's filming?"

"It's good, great actually. Minus the homesickness and missing all of you." Delphi smiled.

"We're going to have a nice sit down dinner tonight in the dining room. Us parents will cook, you kids can relax and catch up." My mom said as I wrapped Ryan wrapped his arms around his daughter in a hug.

"I missed you babygirl." He told her as she hugged him tightly.

(None of you make that weird because I already know someone's thinking that's weird. My dad calls me that and has called me that since I was little so I'm using it and if you think it's weird just keep that to yourself or I'll send Aryan's rizz face to haunt your nightmares.)

"Sissy!" I heard one of Del's sisters scream from my left as they all came running from the other side of the couches in the living room.

She hugged James, who was almost as tall as her already Jesus. James's head is like 2 inches below Del's shoulder and Del's almost 6 years older. Shortie.

After that she kneeled down and hugged Inez, who was being sniffed by Whiskey.

She picked up Betty and danced around with her sisters, who were singing the theme song to whatever show they were watching.

I couldn't take my eyes off of my girlfriend- it feels so good just thinking of her as that- as she danced around the entryway, singing along with them. I felt as though I was in a trance, captivated by her beauty and grace and the way she cared for her sisters. I could see it in her eyes that she missed them probably the most, although she'd always say it was her mom or dad or Mo or fuck, probably Whiskey that she missed most.

I felt a tiny hand pulling on mine, looking down to see Inez tugging me toward Delphi, James, and Betty. Whiskey followed closely behind us as Inez forced me to dance with them, Whiskey jumping around with us on his hind legs.

I already knew that my mom was most likely recording this, but for once I couldn't give a damn because of the way Delphi was smiling at me.

Eventually, Inez and James were too tired to keep dancing. They, along with Betty, went into their play room where all their toys were and started playing.

I flopped onto the couch, leaning against the arm rest as my heart rate slowed down, watching whatever movie Leena had put on.

Soon I felt weight on my legs, though I wasn't sure if it was my dog or girlfriend until I looked over and saw it was both of them, Delphi laying between my legs with her head on my stomach and Whiskey sitting on her back.

"Hey beautiful." I smiled down at her, making her roll her eyes at my comment.

She waved Whiskey off and flipped over so her back was against my legs before calling Whiskey back up to lay on her so she could pet him properly.

"I'm guessing he's stealing my spot in your room?" I asked, pulling out my phone and snapping a picture of the two.

"No, he actually gets to sleep in my bed with me." Delphi replied, scratching behind his ears and making him wag his tail.

"Lucky dog." I said sarcastically. "Do I at least get the guest room on the same floor as your room?"

"Yeah. Heather and Pete are staying in the one on the top floor with my parents and Leena and Tanner are sleeping in the ones down here." She told me. "Wow, my house is huge."

"No shit." Leena comments from the other couch, taking a picture of the three of us.

"Send that to me and then get out of our conversation." I said sassily, making Delphi elbow my leg.

We stopped the movie when we heard Blake call that dinner was ready.

While Leena, Del, and I went to wash our hands, my mom had Tanner set the table, bribing him with picking tonight's movie night movie.

Eventually, we all sat down, Delphi on my left and Ryan on my right, Blake beside him. My dad was across from Delphi, my mom across from me, and my siblings on the other side of our parents.

We thanked the parents for the food and Delphi brought Whiskey's dinner bowl over to the floor next to the table so he could eat with us.

She's obsessed with my dog.

"It is so not fair that he gets more attention from you than I do." I whisper in her ear, making her laugh.

"Sounds like someone's jealous." She whispers right back, making my cheeks heat up in embarrassment because she's partially right.

How the hell am I jealous of my dog?

After dinner and a while later desert, everyone was in the living room downstairs for movie night.

Apparently it was Ryan's turn to pick, but he let Tanner since he set the table earlier.

Tanner chose TMNT, which Delphi and I complained about since it's all Brady ever picks to watch. And somehow Brady always ends up with the remote when we hang out.

Regardless, I couldn't care less, because no matter what we watched I still got to have Del in my arms.

After the movie was over we all headed to our rooms. I had my door open, calling Whiskey to come in.

"He's already tucked in." Del grinned at me from her door down the hall.

I rolled my eyes at her and walked down the hall, peeking in and seeing my grown ass dog tucked in with a bone printed blanket on Delphi's bed, curled up watching us.

"Traitor." I scoffed at Whiskey, walking over to him and patting his belly. "You spoiled dog." I shook my head at him as he looked up at me.

"Go to your room schoolbell." She told me, making me glare at her.

"I hate you." I shook my head at her as I walked toward her door where she was still standing.

"Goodnight." Del laughed, kissing my cheek before pushing me out of her room.

"Ouch, Reynolds, ouch." I laughed, holding my arm like it was hurt. "Goodnight."

I quickly kissed her before walking back to the room I'm confined to and going to bed.
