Interview after interview after interview, weekly episode releases for a month.

Season 1 had officially been completely released yesterday, so I was back to being a "normal" kid.

Apparently, to be a somewhat normal kid, my mom decided for me to get a part time job at the animal shelter near our house, and I start tomorrow.

Travel volleyball starts again tomorrow, so Brady's flying in right now to stay with his aunt a couple hours away.

Connor was gonna come with him, but instead flew to Michigan for a week to spend some time with Leah.

Brady and I, along with the rest of this season's team, will have practice every other day, and tournaments at the end of the week on every Saturday.

And in 2 weeks school volleyball starts.

Right now, I was sitting on my bed, falling asleep with Walker beside me, but for some reason still going over everything in my head.

I could faintly head the Teen Titans Go theme song playing in my room, acutely aware of his long leg pressed against mine.

"What time is it?" I ask Walker quietly, feeling him jump slightly at the sound of my voice.

"Holy fuck, I thought you were asleep." He mumbles, reaching for his phone from my nightstand. "It's 6."

"Brady's landing right now." I sigh softly. "He's coming over here for dinner before going to his aunt's."

"I know, D, you told me already." Walker chuckles, and I feel his lips against my forehead a moment after.

"Sorry." I mumble.

"Don't be sorry." Walker laughs, the sound loud with my ear against his chest. "I'm gonna smack you the next time you apologize for no reason."

"Rude." I chuckle, opening my eyes to look up at him.

We lay there for around 20 more minutes, watching TTG, before we hear a car pull up, doors shutting before we heard a knock on the door.

James screamed that she'd get it, and a minute or two later, Brady walked into my room.

"The adult supervision is here." Brady says, kicking his shoes off by my bedroom door.

"Happy birthday, again." Walker replies.

"What he said." I add, sitting up against my backboard.

Since Brady lives in Jersey, a few of us weren't able to go to his party, so this was the first time we were hanging out since my birthday.

Brady walked over, plopping down across the end of my bed. "Let's go somewhere."

"I don't wanna."

"Where?"

Walker and I say at the same time, making Brady roll his eyes.

"I don't know, I-" Brady stops talking when all 3 of our phones ding at once.

"It's the groupchat." Walker says in a surprised tone, seeing as we literally never text in the groupchat anymore.
