Susan snapped out of her review to Evans' phone ringtone.

He took it out of his suit pocket and smiled at her.

"Excuse me please. I need to take this call."

She looked away before hearing the shutting of the door. She gently turned her head to glance at the door. A gentle smile appeared on her face.

She craned her neck to hear what was hidden behind the iron door even when she knew that she could never hear what ever was said outside.

She retired in defeat as pains shot through her. She gave a dry chuckle.

Perhaps they teamed up. Evans and Flint to get her here.

She closed her eyes as these thoughts roamed her mind.

***********. .*************

Evans walked out as he placed the phone to his ear.

He grinned. "Nice job Flint."

The voice guffawed. "Anything for a fatter che..."

Evans smiled as he disconnected the call not wanting to hear what the other party said.

' I'm going to ruin her for ruining me.'

' I'm gonna make her fall for me then crush her, her pride and dignity under my feet.'

' I'll make her pay.'

He regained his composure and walked into the room to find a sleeping Susan.

He raised his hand and waved it to her face dejectedly.

" You're really gonna leave your guest and go to sleep?"

No response.

" You're really ignoring me. Huh?"

He finally gave up when he didn't receive a response. He walked out to find a doctor and nurse. The nurse carried a tray.

' Must be ointment for her treatment.'
He thought as he walked out into the parking lot. His car attracted a lot of attention.

It was a Ferrari. He unlocked the door and got in. Evans roughly pulled off his Armani suit and laid it on the passenger's seat beside him. He continuously hit the steering wheel before breathing in and regaining himself.

"Calm the hell down Evans!" He yelled at he fixed the key into the ignition.
