The frame

"...Irina?"

"...What?"

Kai was looking at me, touching my face with her finger. Her psychopath side was awake again, yet she was my friend.

I wanted to ask too many questions, but in fact I only managed to get up, my head was about to explode, everything felt weird, even my own body moving.

"Where is everybody?" I asked.

"I think everyone's okay, Gene said so" Kai answered, "he went outside, the rest are here... can't you see properly?"

I noticed that my vision was limited by a strange frame of light and colors that I didn't understand.

"Weird shadows and lightspots surrounding you, that's all"

Alex entered the frame, so I could see him properly.

"Something hit us... the Chameleon is still upside down... it was like 15 minutes ago" he said.

"Just... 15?"

"We all got hit" Twinkle's voice said, "but you got the worst, Gene said"

"Talk about luck..."

Gene entered, and almost fell from the Chameleon being upside down. If there was someone that could help me with my 'light frame' it was him.

"So... a 'light frame' is limiting your vision..."

I nodded. Gene looked around, trying to remain calm.

"I don't know what it means, but nothing logical... if not, everything would be lightspots for you, but a frame..."

I sighed. Jackson came into the frame, then sat next to me.

"If you want I can sing so you get your vision back"

"Please don't-"

"Too late~" Ruby's voice said.

Jackson sang outloud, obviously he had joked but my vision was certainly changing. The lightspots were turning to real shapes, but nothing to do with reality.

I told the rest about this, annoyed by this.

"...Am I hallucinating?"

"Well I'm not sure, it could be..." Gene answered.

"This is getting weirder every second" Kai pointed.

"Actually... it could be a spell" Twinkle suggested.

"ILLOGICAL"

"I'm with Gene on this one" Alex said, "we would have noticed if someone had entered"

Alien was making sounds, Twinkle listened carefully. But we weren't paying attention so yeah.

There was now movement in the frame. It seemed like a prophecy, some kind of illogical stuff that was making my eyes go crazy, it showed a scene that...

I didn't pay attention, yet I didn't tell the others. I didn't want to worry them for nothing, it was probably just an image that my brain was showing me, that's all.

Jackson proposed to figure this all the next day, so we could all rest, and Twinkle was the first one to agree.

...

The next morning, when I opened my eyes, the frame was more intense, the shapes were so well defined, the scene was terrifying. I thought of telling the rest, but... I was too scared of having it myself. Maybe they would only help me, but I was too afraid, instead I kept my mouth shut and closed my eyes.

Twinkle's wings could be heard, slightly but still, Alex's sword and movements with Ruby's, Jackson saying random stuff because yes...

I tried to keep calm, and I almost fell asleep again while relaxing...

Meanwhile, Kai seemed to be arguing with Gene, but I could barely hear them. Yet I did understand something:

"I'm not letting you do that to her!"
