Goodbye (or not)

This one is short, but dedicated to (obviously) the creators of Kai and Jackson, and to add atreyusbiggestf4n, you'll see why :]

Gene recieved a signal on his computer. Apparently they had to go to Kingsland, to dragon territory who knows why. Alex didn't complain. He had experience with dragons. Ruby just sighed, and Twinkle flied happily, not sure of what they would do.

We all stayed in silence for a while.

Kai looked at them.

"Aren't you coming?" Ruby asked.

"Someone has to stay here to take care of this"

Ruby nodded.

"I'm staying too" I declared.

"And me" Jackson said.

We all hugged. It was sad to say goodbye, after everything. We knew we would see the others again, but we didn't know when, that was what made me think: "This is us. We have to take different ways but they'll lead us to the same place. I'm sure we'll meet again."

Alex took Gene's hand. Ruby smiled.

"At last... he won't be torturing me"

They all entered the Chameleon, and waved their hands.

"Goodbye!"

They went away flying inside the Chameleon. To be honest, this left me sad. But I kept smiling.

In fact, I don't know if it was a great idea to leave us alone. An interesting group we were: a professional singer, a psychopath and... a random agent that calls everyone and everything old.

That was us. That IS us.

Hours later I went to the sea. I took off my shoe (the only one I had left) and went into the water.

Jackson and Kai did the same thing. We started teasing each other, throwing water at the others, having fun.

Jackson suddenly screamed. He looked at his foot and we also did. He had a lobster stuck there.

"Get that thing off me!!!" He yelled.

But instead we laughed, we surely died from laughter.

"It's not funny"

It was the most illogical thing in the world, but I knew it wasn't over. I don't know if it was the lobster, but it made me think.

I was determined to live more situations with these people. Everything illogical, but everything funny.

After all, logic was nothing compared to all the places we saw, all the things I called old and still do, because that's what happened, our story. Our Own Story. Our own silliness. Us.

So we kept laughing at the lobster for a while, then we took it back to the sea. Jackson was relieved to see it off. Finally.
