I woke up by the "beautiful" sound of Jackson's voice singing again, with Twinkle, two voices together that still haunt me in my nightmares.

The frame was still there, it moved slowly, and it was not too clear, what was good, but in the other hand it was making me freak out.

"Is this gonna disappear or what?" I thought.

At least the images were not moving so fast, I could see what was happening in front of me without any obstacles, surrounded by this frame.

Alex and Ruby were training again, having a lot of fun. Alien was just there, resting and basically doing nothing, and Gene...

Where was Gene? And Kai??

Alex said that Gene had gone to explore the place, but... no, it couldn't be...

Jackson and Twinkle still had the concert running. Alien got up and covered Jackson's mouth with his own ear.

I couldn't help but laugh, and so did Ruby. Jackson obviously wanted to complain but he couldn't. This silly singer...

And where was the psychopath???

In that exact moment, she entered. Her boots were broken. Well, she had a boot and a half.

"Never, I repeat NEVER enter a cave here"

Jackson nodded, and Alien got down.

"Oh finally some fresh air"

"Where's Gene??" She asked.

"I thought he was with you" Alex said.

"YOU LIED?!"

"Ehhhhh"

"Well, as you can see he's not with me now... he was mad and..." Kai continued.

"Gene mad?"

"What?"

"He was acting weird so I told him to go away, and surprisingly he did so. Then a few purple creatures ate half of my boot..."

Gene came back, his clothes ripped, but he seemed to be fine... except for his eyes...

They were not normal, they sparkled, but not like normally... they had a few purple tones... they shined more than usually...

"Ehhhhh... Gene?"

No answer. He went again to modify things in the Chameleon, which was still upside down.

"I'm telling you this is a spell!" Twinkle yelled.

"It's impossible, we would have noticed if someone had entered here!" Jackson replied as he waved the stick.

"Of course! They've been exposed to black magic from the broom!"

"And if that's the case, why are just Gene and Irina affected?" Jackson asked.

"They're Technopolians, which means..."

"...we've been always protected by Technopolis's dome... illogical... but could be..."

Twinkle casted a spell on Gene, his eyes stopped sparkling, he fell, and I went to check on him.

"There's something..." Kai started, "he wanted to take you to Technopolis, so they could study your... vision problem..."

"I don't care, I'm not leaving him"

He was alive, at least. Twinkle used another spell and finally found two "magic" sources. One came from the little creatures, and the other one from the stick.

Ruby broke the stick without thinking, Jackson dropped a few tears. It was his achievement, after all.

"Both sources seem to have created an impact on the Technopolians, which means..."

"The frame is not just a hallucination?" Alex asked.

"It's an actual prophecy... can you tell us what it is, please?" Twinkle explained.

I told them everything, it didn't take too long.

"So... we have to save the world..."

"Tomorrow, when Gene wakes up"
