˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚THE SUN WAS SHINING
bright through your [F/C] curtains that were too thin to hold the sun back.it was early in the morning, not a blue—morning type of early, but the type of early you wake up to on weekends where the sunlight was a comfortable yellow instead of a haunting blue.
your guitar hang from your neck as you practiced some more of your band's songs. you have been memorizing non—stop and had Marj help you on your parts. so it was safe to say you were getting familiar with it.
AY AY AY I'm up it little butterfly!—
"fuck, I gotta change that ringtone."
you grumbled, though already knowing you were probably too lazy to pay for a new one or to even change it.one hand leaving the guitar, your bracelets jingled as you reached over to the nightstand and looked at the caller ID. it was Stan.
"Hello?" you greeted through the speaker, already knowing what Stan wanted.
"do you have your bags ready? we have to get on the road after prom so best be prepared."
"oh, I completely forgot about that honestly."
a nervous chuckled left past your slightly chapped lips."that went by so fast, it felt like the last day of school just yesterday."
you imagined Stan rolling his eyes as he spoke, "that's because you weren't there for the majority of senior year."
"better late than never."
"whatever, just be prepared."
you giggled at his pouty tone.
"yeah sure, bye."

LAYING INFRONT OF ME WERE
some outfit options to the dance, I didn't have that much clothing options other than shirts I just have, thrifted and those 2000s shirts with a wolf in a dark forest setting with a moon behind it. which was pretty epic.it was late in the evening, and prom was about to start so I needed an outfit option quick and I haven't had a chance to plan one in between packing my bags and such.
my chin was placed uncertainly in between my point and my thumb as I pondered, my eyes switched from outfit to outfit.
you know what?
my arm reached out to a ([F/C] oversized dress shirt with Khaki shorts and scrunched socks/ F/C dress with scrunched socks) and I smiled.
pretty fire.

SPOILER ALERT:
I look a little too good in this outfit.
I've approximately twirled about twenty—seven times and checked out my ass twenty—six and I've concluded I've look hot.
now the only problem was getting a ride— though I basically know most of my friends have a car— they all have dates and I don't want to intrude on their drive to possibly the most important night of their education.
sighing, I picked up my phone and went through the contacts. already dreading what I was going to do.
my eyes automatically caught onto the name and I clicked it.
