Notable Characters:
Y/N is an anthropomorphic fox with a unique outfit with a foxlike mask covering their face and a modified Burst Wispon. They have a quiet demeanor, complex thinking, and prefer to stay out of the limelight but has a fiery temper. Y/N shares a close bond with Whisper and Tangle. Currently has a broken arm with a cast immobilizing it due to Metal Sonic. Silver has feelings towards them, but they rejected him.
Whisper is an anthropomorphic wolf with a combat-oriented outfit. Since the betrayal, Whisper has become quieter and more reserved than Y/N, bottling up her emotions in stressful situations. She has a deep bond with Y/N through shared trauma and Tangle even though their complete opposite personality's.
Tangle is an anthropomorphic ring-tailed lemur with a prehensile tail. She is loud, friendly, and easily excitable. Tangle has strong friendships with Whisper and Y/N, providing support and encouragement to both.
Lanolin is an anthropomorphic sheep with a helpful and hardworking mindset. She is formal and easily startled, preferring to have a plan before taking action. Lanolin is willing to put herself in danger when needed and is good at recognizing when others are hurting.

Lanolin, Whisper, Tangle and Y/N were sitting at a table in their personal break room, Lanolin was looking over all the paperwork they had gotten with the 'success' with their first mission, Whisper was quietly sipping her coffee, Tangle was drinking from a juice box with what looked to be inter connected straws as her tail was using a paddle ball and Y/N was tuning their Wispon with Redster floating nearby.
Lanolin sighed. "Our first mission out as The Diamond Cutters was technically a success. It was also nearly a disaster... we have a lot to work on. Whisper? How did your guys' old team organize it's self?"
Whisper looked up from her coffee. "We were all volunteers. We just... found one another. It wasn't formal until after we organized.
Tangle suddenly perks up. "You thinking of recruiting?"
"I'd like us to diversify our options. More personnel means more ideas, more skills, more--" Lanolin stops clearly annoyed by the paddleball, swiping it from Tangles tail. "-- more options if there are multiple crises..." She goes back to her seat leaving Tangle grumpy.
"You could've said something first..." Tangle pouted.
Y/N's hand slipped into the tail, and a small, intricately designed cube emerged. With a subtle smile, they held it out to Tangle, offering the fidget cube as a distraction from their earlier frustration. The cube's smooth surfaces seemed to invite Tangle's attention, and Y/N's gaze remained fixed on their friend, hoping to diffuse the tension with a gentle gesture.
Tangle takes it giving a silent thank you before leaning back in her seat and fidgeting with it. Suddenly there was a knock at the door making everyone look over and see a anthropomorphic cat, he has Blueish violet, light blueish violet, dark blueish violet, for fur with some it resembling hair, dark brown eyes, a small brown nose and white chocolate furred muzzle, his ear are small and straight with tufts of fur on the inside. He wears Dark-gray scarf with black and white end Dark-gray shoes with white ties and Dark-gray white gloves. "um... Hello? Sorry am I interrupting something?"
Y/N leered behind their mask, this person seemed familiar but they couldn't put their tongue on it, their ears pressed against their head and their tail waved in agitation.
Whisper's gentle hand reached behind Y/N's mask, her fingers brushing against their fur as she began to rub behind their ears. Y/N's tail slowed its agitation, and their ears relaxed from their pressed position against their head.
