After three years and 2 months of being hospitalized, Jay was finally allowed to leave the hospital part of the Administration. He was set as a trainee. To move ranks, he had to have a special promotion written by the Administrator. Jay didn't have a office of his own. He had to take orders from a higher level agent.
"Please get forms U70 and 3P8D!" said Agent Hood.
"Yes sir." answered Jay.
Jay ran through the halls of the administration.
"H-hey... Oof... can you- pass me forms... U70 and... 3P8D?" asked Jay, tired of running.
"Sure thing."
The agent passes him the forms and Jay runs back to his boss.
One month passes by and Jay is the top sub-agent. He earned a promotion to Agent. Jay was somehow happy about it.
"Congratulations Agent Walker!" said Agent Greyson.
"Thank you."
"Wow. I wasn't expecting you to make it this far! No offence..."
"I wasn't expecting it too."
"Well you did it!"
"Does this mean I work for myself? OR GET MY OWN OFFICE!!!?" Jay gets excited.
"Well not exactly. You will be getting a room with an office."
"Nice. How doe-" Jay gets interrupted.
"It's a shared office. You will be getting a partner."
A young man arrives, rushed.
"Oof... Sorry I'm late... I fell asleep and-"
The young man stops.
"Is that my partner?" he asks.
"Indeed. This is Agent Walker. He will be your partner."
Jay smiles slightly. The man smiles back.
"Oh yes. This is Agent Tobey. He will be your partner and roommate."
Agent Tobey and Jay shake hands.
