Nezu was sitting calmly in front of the teenager. He was watching the time on the far back wall as Rini glanced at random objects in the room.
They sat in silence waiting for the five minutes to pass. . .
Nezu studied the teens mannerisms. She was clearly anxious. But there was something else underneath that.
Trauma.
He knew she was hiding more information about how her quirk awakened. And the interaction she had with All For One. He and the others could only imagine what happened, but he had a good idea of what truly conspired.
However, like all the others, he didn't want to push the teen to admit it.
In the background, the minute hand on the clock ticked and finally hit the five minute mark.
Nezu settled his gaze on the teen. Time Travel was a tricky power to deal with simply because the concepts of time travel are all theoretic. Even he himself, a genius, had many theories on the concept but could never say for certain which theory was accurate.
In science fiction, time travel could mean the users actions cause ripples in the future but everything turns out the same. Or the users actions completely distort the future and create a new reality with consequences. And the list goes on.
The way the user time travels varied too. If the user could physically travel through time, that'd spell a multitude of messy consequences. If they could travel back with their mind, like Rini, then it did not create messy possibilities. . . But that created more questions:
If she is the only one with a Time Travel quirk, then would that mean her perception and control over time meant control over her reality?
If she can control reality, is it still considered Time Travel or something more omnipotent?
