Chapter Two:

A Little To The Right

× + ×

Hitoshi steps off his train and struggles through the crowds. Someone on the train was blasting a pre-quirk song on repeat. ‘Heat Of The Moment’ he thinks. And now an older teen near him is shouting into their phone excitedly. It's way too early for this. He starts heading somewhere, hopefully school. He has no clue where he's going but does at the same time. Like he knows where to go, instinctively? But not his destination, again hopefully school. He doesn't really want to go to school. Where the bullies and the teachers who suddenly go blind are. It's hell. However, it's better to be there than to get lost. Although, he seems to know where to go apparently. So, he probably wouldn't get lost. But his moms think he's going to school and if something happens that's where they'll go to get him.
That something could be a car crash, a villain attack, or literally anything. So, he has to go to school just in case.

Even if, technically, they'd call him next. He would want to know immediately so to hell he goes. On his walk he saw someone trip over their dog and a kid lose their balloon. Yikes. It's like bad luck is worse the closer he gets to hell. Turning down an alleyway he spots an old building up ahead. With it are rickety, old, rusted gates. He gets closer and finds a sign that reads, ‘Aldera Middle School’. Groups of kids his age in uniforms that match his own head through the gates. So, he did know where he was going after all. Good. Great. Cool. He sighs with the straps of his bag in a white knuckled grip. And he trudges to the gates of hell.

Sitting in his homeroom class, Hitoshi cringes at the hyena-like laughter. Way too early for this. He's glad he knew his way around. Knowing where the shoe lockers were, which locker was his, and where his key was. Where his homeroom was even though he doesn't recognize the room. He didn't recognize the halls either. And yet he still ended up here with his classmates throwing jeers at him. So, they know him… He really isn't sure if that's a good thing or not. But here's the thing he only recognizes one– One classmate. Bakugou Katsuki.

And Hitoshi really wishes he didn't. The guy has an ego bigger than Japan. His head can barely fit in the room with how big it is. Just because of his flashy quirk; Explosion. He has the personality of a rabid chihuahua owned by an old lady. Though, his spiky ash blond hair and red eyes make him look like that one Pokémon… A Mo– Me– a Mankey! Yeah, he definitely looks like one of those. It's uncanny, really. He wishes he could do a side by side comparison. Maybe last year's yearbook is online?
