"So, you mean to say that you died once, and then one day you woke up, you're in this body already?"

Xie Lian asked in wonder. The three couples are now traveling down a dusty road, as Luo Binghe instructed. He said that he knew what caused them to be stuck up here, and it's because of that Meng Mo, the Dream Demon, and partly, his fault too. Although Luo Binghe was outstanding enough to defeat the Demon's enchantment, he couldn't do it because he was experiencing a unique Qi Deviation. Its effects are making him powerless, and can even attract other people from the other universe. When Luo Binghe explained everything, they can't help but be pissed at him. But it's too late for that, that's why all they can do is to follow his lead.

Right now, Wei Wuxian and Xie Lian walked side by side, both of them saying that they could be soul brothers in another universe because there are lots of traits that they think they share.

Wei Wuxian answered Xie Lian.

"Yes! Honestly, I don't want to go back anymore, I just want to rest in peace. But then, Mo Xuanyu summoned my soul to take over his body, so that he can find revenge for himself. How I wish it didn't happen."

Lan Wangji stopped walking and turned his head towards them.

"But that was before I knew someone loves me this much. I might have hated myself for so long, but because of Lan Zhan, I learned how to value my life, because he's now my life, and I want to spend the rest of it with him."

He looked at Lan Wangji and smiled.

"That's so sweet of you, Wuxian! In my case, even if how many times I wish I had died, still I can't. I also felt like it's worthless to live that long seeing your loved ones vanish away."

"That's because you're a god? Is that right?"

"Yes, you're right. But I'm contented now. Everything is falling into their right places, and I'm having the time of my life with San Lang."

Hua Cheng also smiled upon hearing it.

"If you're a god, then does that mean I can pray to you?"

Luo Binghe asked.

"You see," Xie Lian smiled awkwardly then continued, "You can pray to me, but I might not be able to grant your prayers right now. As you can see, my spiritual powers are not present."

"I see. But after we escape here, I'd pay respect to one of your statues!"

"Me too, your Highness!"

Wei Wuxian seconded.

"I don't know who's subconscious is this, but I'm sure we're entering a cave."

Luo Binghe said, looking at his surroundings.

"Lan Zhan, isn't it the Xuanwu Cave?" He asked, looking at him.

"Mn."

"But why are we here? How come?"

"The Dream Demon uses our subconscious mind to create a scene. And right now, I think it worked on you." Luo Binghe said.

"Does that mean we will encounter that ugly turtle snake? Lan Zhan, how are we able to defeat it?"

Wuxian was worrying about it, so he held onto Lan Wangji's arms.

"Don't worry, since this is just a dream, it will not see us."

"What do you mean?" Hua Cheng asked.
