Controlium: Volume 1

Insane

A demon arrived at the gates of Controlium; he came from hell to deliver some goods to Controlium. As he approached the cave and was about to enter, he suddenly felt that someone was following him.

He continued to walk towards the gate, but suddenly he fell into a hole. Looking up, he saw someone standing above the hole. The red glowing eyes were visible, along with a wide, discernible smile.

He knew who it was.

The next day, Mars found the dead body of the demon. He discovered that the individual was a smuggler, smuggling weapons into Controlium.

Mars: That means there are traitors among us. We've got to find those traitors.

Mike: But the real question is, who killed this smuggler?

Mars: Someone from hell is trying to protect us.

Mike: People from hell are kind? I thought hell was filled with sinners.

Mars: Some sinners are also kind-hearted.

Mike: I see.

Mars: I sense a strange spiritual energy.

Suddenly, the sky started to get covered by clouds. There was something odd.

Mars: Not again.

A man appeared.

Gladius: You all missed the one and only Maximus Gladius, right? I'll tear you all into pieces.

Mars: Misa, protect Mike and Yuzuki from this bastard.

Misa: As you say.

Misa ran towards Gladius, holding her sword. She swung the sword, but Gladius stopped it with his own.

Gladius: You hurled yourself at me without much thought. That was terribly reckless of you.

Misa: Somebody had to make the first move, bastard.

Gladius suddenly stopped Mike's attack with his second hand.

Gladius: Try everything on me. At the end of this battle, I'll win.

Mike: Reconsider your words.

Gladius: Interesting, show me your full powers. I am not alone here.

Gladius threw a sword towards Yuzuki; she dodged it, but behind her, Vanetti was standing, looking scared. Vanetti smiled.

Mike: Miss Vanetti, I was waiting to fight with you.

Vanetti: Huh?

As soon as Vanetti looked at Mike, she saw Gladius badly injured on the floor. Mike smiled.

Vanetti: As I expected.

Mike: I didn't beat the crap out of him; it was Misa.

Vanetti: Fight me.
