Starblood

Layanah helps smuggle the group across walls of Atlas under the ruse of trade. She says goodbye to Lilith and the two kiss.

On their way to Brynn, Lilith asks Soren if he's ever felt save in his life and he tells them that he's always been on the run and never had any genuine connections with people. This makes the group realize that they're all loners and that they've only got each other.

Citronne excitedly declares they made it to the Riseberg watchtower. They meet professor Ludwig Riseberg. Citronne delivers the moonstones and crown and everyone finally ass what they were for. The alchemist puts them in this meltingpot of yellow, radiant fluids and tells them about his insane idea to create his own moon. He wants to experiment with different creatures and races to discover what kind of advancements they can make, something Citronne is excited by. They tell him it's kind of ambitious and insane, and that's when he puts on the crown of descent. He orders them out but when Citronne asks him if they can watch after all this he pushes them away, scratching their arm. Their blood is yellow and radiant. The groups asks what's going on and Citronne explains that their family died of famine and that professor Riseberg brought them back with the power of a star. When they ask why they didn't use it on Kaimir, they reply that they used all of it for this telescope cannon that they've built. The machine begins to make loud noises and the professor shouts that the moonstones are vaporizing the starblood. By this rate they'll create an asteroid right where they stand.
The group begins running but Citronne stays behind. 'He's my family too', they say and they climb into the melting pot. Their screams muffled by the machine's overwork. The group make it outside. The cannon fire a bright yellow beam up in the sky ending with a far away thump. The tower crumbles in onto itself and the sky reflects a large new moon right above them.
