The group's door is kicked in by Amber and he attacks Kaphiri. The group defends him and the Pandoran finalist forces them to leave the area or he will send the district after them.
Kira and Soren stand their ground, but Kaphiri has to convince Sharon not to kill Amber. Soren mentions placing all his money on Amber.
When Kaphiri goes to say goodbye to Magnus, he finds he has passed away in his sleep.
Citronne tells them they have a place for them to stay, but they have to retrieve that final moon stone at the finals that night.
Pluto helps them to robes and the group enters the arena.
Kaphiri asks Sharon not to kill anyone. She asks why she can't, and he explains that he used to not understand why too. But people have families, something that the two of them don't have anymore. It would be like taking one of them away from the group. Sharon asks why she can't do it if others still do. He says that change has to start from somewhere.
Lilith encounters a distressed Layanah, who tells her and Soren that Amber's sisters got kidnapped right before the finals. Lilith asks if it's the vikings and she confirms. Layanah grabs Lilith's hand.
Kaphiri and Sharon watch Amber be on the losing hand, when his opponent is sniper by an arrow. Vikings flood the arena and a riot starts in the stands. Despite Sharon's objections, Kaphiri enters the arena in order to save Amber. They protect and take him away from the arena, where they encounter Halcyon. She heals Amber's wounds and thanks Kaphiri for bringing him back. She also mentions she didn't ask Amber to attack him like that, but that it hurts too much to apologize as well.
Kaphiri and Sharon leave and she asks why he helped him. He says they owe her and thinks Amber would be a worthy ruler of Atlas.
Citronne and Kira rejoin them with the moonstone and start the search for Lilith and Soren.
