Permamoon's effect on Kaphiri

Soren decides he should become the next champion of Atlas and goes to the library to buy books.

At the windy coast, Lilith encounters Freya again and apologizes for doubting her fatebound. Freya reveals she is Reynold Rivendor's wife and that she will meet her descendant again someday in the future. [She continues the tale where Fawkes left off]
As it begins to rain she tells Lilith to quickly reunite with her friends, as disaster will strike soon.

There's a lot of commotion at the town's square. Kaphiri and Sharon run over and see a bleeding Soren on the ground, with Amber in front of him with a bloody weapon. Kaphiri tries some healing method's Halcyon taught him, but watches his actual golden heart stop pumping blood.
"I thought you wanted him alive"
"He actually challenged me, this was self defence"
"How did you find us"

Kaphiri breaks down and transforms into a werewolf. Sharon realizes with a permamoon comes that Kaphiri can always transform now. He attacks Amber and actually manages to disarm him. Sharon comes in between and tells Kaphiri that they can't take someone's family because they've lost their own. When he doesn't listen, she wields a silver nail file. Kaphiri finally calms down and collapses.
Sharon kicks Amber to the ground and he asks her why she saved him. She tell him she doesn't care if he dies, but Kaphiri does. "Return to your wife and never tell her you went through these stupid lengths to have a family'
'She's not even my wife yet...'
Sharon rolls her eyes and returns to the boys.
Lilith finally shows up as well and the three of them sit by Soren's body in the rain, surrounded by astrology books.
