Chapter 6

The night soon continued and the guys had decided to order some food in, letting Lottie pick what she wanted also. The female decided to sit outside for a bit, taking everything in and silently admiring all the expensive cars parked in the driveway, holding the letter in her hand. She heard the front door open, but didn't look back as she felt someone walk out and sit beside her.

"You okay?" She heard Juyeon's voice call.

"Just taking it all in." She answered, slipping the letter into her back pocket.

"That's understandable." He said.

Lottie looked over and saw the male pull out a vape. She watched him slip it between his lips, taking a puff and a cloud of smoke leave. He chuckled and stared straight ahead.

"Want some?" He offered.

"Um, no thanks." She mumbled, making him nod.

It then went silent, but it didn't feel awkward to Lottie. It felt relaxing. The cool night air mixed with the smoke from Juyeon's vape. She didn't notice it at first, but as the smoke reached her nose, the smell of bubblegum hit.

"That smells nice." She said softly.

Juyeon turned slightly to face the female, a dopey smile on his face as he waved the vape around. As if to tempt the girl, which she was slowly leaning into.

"Take a puff, it will help you relax." He suggested.

Lottie glanced at the black vape again. Part of her was screaming no, knowing she'd get addicted easily, but she also didn't think it would hurt just once. So she gave in. Juyeon smiled as he watched her take a puff, the smoke swirling in the air. Lottie instantly relaxed, the sweet bubblegum flavour making her smile.

"Feel better?" He asked, taking the vape back.

Lottie nodded and smiled, making Juyeon smile too. He lent over without her noticing and took the letter from her pocket without her noticing. He stood up and ruffled her hair.

"Glad I could help, kid." He said, before heading back inside.

As he walked back inside, Juyeon went straight to Sangyeon's office, where the eldest was sitting and waiting. Juyeon opened and closed the door as he walked in, throwing the letter on the desk.

"That was easy." Sangyeon mentioned, taking it into his hands, making Juyeon chuckle.

"Gave her a bit of my vape, didn't even notice." Juyeon said with a smug smile.

"However it works for you." Sangyeon replied with a nod.

"So, you think she'll notice it's gone?" Juyeon asked, taking a seat on a chair.

"Doubt it. We'll keep her distracted." Sangyeon answered.

"Won't be hard." Juyeon muttered.

"How do you think she'll react once she knows the truth?" Juyeon then questioned.

"If we'd tell her now, she'd instantly try and leave. Give it a month and we'll have her where we want her, she'll not want to leave." Sangyeon answered with a wild smirk.

"What would Jax say if he was here?" Juyeon softly asked.

"He wanted us to take care of Lottie and that's what we're going to do, in our own way." Sangyeon responded firmly.

"Do....Do you miss him?" Juyeon called.

"Of course." Sangyeon replied with a nod.

Juyeon nodded, knowing it was still a touchy subject. Before he could say anything else, the pair of males heard Lottie's voice.

"Food is here!"

Both stood up, ready to walk out to get food, but Sangyeon grabbed Juyeon's arm, making the younger turn to him.

"Don't mention anything, act normal." He order, but Juyeon chuckled.

"Of course Hyung." He replied, winking at the elder to make him shake his head.

The two walked out to see the others gathered with the food. Neither of them mentioned anything as they ate quietly.
