As I was walking in the night, I had checked my phone it was 5:34 in the morning. The pink due coming from the sky meaning the sun would be up in a while. I had continued walking I had gotten to the central part of our city and I hid behind a building it was 6:15 in the morning. I heard a footsteps and it wasn't heavy footsteps and I heard a woman voice it was heavy but also light. I had hid behind a dumpster, and these foot steps had stopped Infront of the dumpster. My heart was racing as the voice wasn't as familiar but maybe cause I was close of having an anxiety attack but she had said"Get out you know I could see you Nini."

I had gotten up cause I know it stupid if I had ran cause more disturbance then before and possibly more Stasi might be around. "You're okay Nini." The woman sighed in relief as she tucked Nikolina's black hair back of her ear. I had looked up, and it was Celia I had smiled. "What are you doing here?" I questioned. "I tell you when we are out of the Stasi sight now come on Emma's Apartment is right around." Celia looked around as she had grabbed Nikolina hand and ran around the corner, unlocked the door and both ran into the Emma's apartment that's still there after 2 years when she had escaped when she was newly 18 and I was sixteen, it gave me memories of a person I would call a close friend.

Celia takes off her jacket and threw it on the couch, and put her hair up. Celia had taken out a phone she saw the last message that Emma had sent her she sighs as she mumbles "I love you too Emma....". I asked her cause I saw her phone "How did you get a phone only Stasi and government officials could have one?"

"Ha this piece of junk, I was a former Stasi member my father, my mother and my older brother are Stasi members. I just hijacked the phone and made it my own personal cell the only contact I have is  Emma and the resistance team I am apart of. Emma oddly knows you still here, to be honest I was kinda jealous about your relationship with Emma. She picked you over me to attempt to take over the border, now she haven't responded to my message in a couple weeks." Celia responded. "Just like off the grid? Like that do you know what happened?" I gotten up worried.

"I don't know for sure but , I perceived that Emma is missing or might be worse the Stasi had gotten her." Celia slammed her hand on the desk making me jump. "Her last text was she was going to attempt to cross the border to get you then me, now she's off the grid." Celia yells in frustration. "Her last text was a video of her at the border now there's nothing." Celia sighs as she sat down next to me.

I looked down ask I my question "Why are you here, if you don't mind me asking?" I looked at her. "I drove here cause I was going to you, my father and your father are bitch ass friends so I had to leave right before my father or I wouldn't be allowed to leave. I was living there trying to figure out what was going to happen cause he found out I was dating Emma...." She raised her legs on the couch and laid her head in Nikolina lap. "What happens if you don't mind me asking?" Nikolina raised her eyebrow. "My father told my mother and my brother, my brother neither my father liked it so they had beat me until I was covered in bruises, then when I went to work the next day I was fired due to me being a lesbian. Hope you don't feel weirded out by my bruises." I looked at her bruises as she was covered in arms and neck, some was healing and some was new as I touched them I heard some groans in pain so I stopped touching them. "Now you see why, Emma was my boat she kept me stable from the point I would've had killed myself if she wasn't here."

"I had remembered when I graduated out of highschool I was immediately directed by my father to join the stasi, even if I haven't made the choice he would've disowned me. I come from a family that had been loyal to the Nazi Germany to the Soviet Union ideology and belief, I am the first daughter that actually rebelled against this ideal." Celia said while sitting up and getting up from the couch to the kitchen. I saw her bruises from her neck down to her arms, red, purple and heal bruises even cigarette burns on her hand and arms.

I saw a note on the ground and picked it up and read it.

"Grab the girl and bring her to the resistance group, keep her out the eye of Stasi I know I can trust you Celia and promise I will be alright I have to do something on my own to know why am I being dragged into the Stasi and what do they want to do with me."

Love you Celia
From Emma

I looked back at Celia as the news went on it said its regularly propaganda but something was different, my face was on the missing person poster they had described me as a fellow member of the regime and lies they could tell to keep my family Stasi tittle and loyalty to the government.

I sighed at the sheer manipulation I looked at Celia making noodles for us to eat. I gotten up and walked to her "Do you have an hairdye, scissors anything that can change my look cause I bet the Stasi is going to be busting down doors especially on how we looking.

Celia nods as she looks at me "You wanna cut it now?" She questioned. I nodded in response "I want it dye blond and cut to your level of hair, short medium to my shoulder size and a new change of style."

Celia nodded as she wiped her hands with a towel she signaled, she went to get the scissors and blonde dye. I had sat down and waited for her to come back, when she came back she started doing my hair cutting it to the length I had wanted and dying it blonde. After those hours we helped ourselves to change our style, Celia had packed her bags and looked at the last message in which Emma had gave, the address of an well known resistance group, that Emma had connections to and well.

"Let's go Nini." She smiles as I and her had walked out the house with mask on going into the direction in which Emma had told the resistance group would be. Knowing damn well this would be a long ride ahead my new mission is to find Emma who had came back from the west Germany to east for me and Celia.
