Chapter 22

The shift was pretty quiet except for a few small calls as I was just getting ready to go home

I'm ready to go out, I've said goodbye to everyone as usual, I get into my car and I'm about to drive off when someone knocks on the door and it's Miga who opens the door. "Can I go with you?" she asks me smiles "Sure, come in" I say back to her with a smile and she sticks it in and I drive off

We've been on the road for a good quarter of an hour now and we're almost there. We talked a bit about the shift and how Miga and her child are doing. "Lis, how are you?" Magi suddenly asks in the silence and looks at me "Hmm, well, it's okay," I say briefly and park the car so we can get out. I lock it and we go to the door of my in-laws' house. "You Lis, I don't want to talk to you or anything like that, but why aren't you open? Waited for us" she asks me as I close the door and open it "if I knew that, Miga, I don't know what made me do it myself" I say to her as I turned around and took off my shoes, which she said with equal power

We went into the living room where Shi-won was sitting and watching TV with Lola. When I saw that, I immediately had to grin and stood in the door frame. After a few seconds, Shi-won looked at us and smiled at us and said "Hey Lis". he cheerfully and looks at me and Meier daughter's head turns to us and she jumps up and runs into my arms "Mom" she whispers to me I stroke her back and lift her up "well little one" I say you and want to go to Shi-won "Mom, have you already spoken to Mom today?" Lola asks shortly before I want to sit down. "No sweet why" I ask her and sit down with her. Miga sits down next to me and Lola sits down normally Then she notices that Miga is there and jumps around her neck while she calls her name, which I found really cute

Miga and lola sat like that for a little while and enjoyed the hug, the two of them are kind of like sisters or something, they get along really well which I thought was really good and cool, well "Lola darling" I say at some point and she turns her head to me "yes "Mom" she says to me with a smile because I haven't heard from Jen today and she just mentioned it. I'm a little worried because she isn't with us either. "Where is Mom?" I ask my daughter with a slight smile and take hers Hand in my hand "I don't know where mom is" she says to me slightly worried and sad so I turn to Shi-won who immediately says "Jen is in her room sleeping" he answers me I nod and got up to go to my wife Lola grabbed my hand, I go to her for a moment, tell her that everything is fine and give her a kiss on the head and go up

When I entered the room, I saw my wife sleeping peacefully on the bed. I quietly closed the door behind me and approached her. I lay down next to her, hugging her gently and holding her close to me as I rested my head on her back and just enjoyed the moment

After about 10 minutes I pressed small kisses on her neck, where she continued to move after a few minutes. "mm" she hummed and turned over on her back, but her eyes were closed. I gave her a kiss on the cheek and supported myself on my arm and look at her, she slowly opens her eyes and looks at me and immediately a smile appears on her lips "hi babe" I say to her in a whisper and give her a kiss on the head "Morning darling" she says sleepily to me and I had to smile slightly. I put my free hand on her stomach and stroke it. Jen puts her hand on mine and smiles, which I just return

We lay there like that for a while and just enjoyed it. "Darling," my wife suddenly says in the silence. I turn my head to hers, it's good because her head is on my chest. "Yes, darling," I say back to her and stroke her back "Can you get Lola?" she asks and I notice that she is a little sad. I nod, just get up, give her another kiss on the lip and thong and make my way back downstairs

When I arrived in the living room, I only see Lola and Shi-won sitting. "Where is Miga?" I asked the two of them, who quickly turned to me. "Aunt Miga had to go home because there was something with Tim," my daughter said, getting up and came to me "where's mom?" she asks me as I take her in my arms "upstairs, I should get you" I say to her with a smile, which she replies and clings to me "come on, let's go upstairs" I say her and I turn around and go upstairs "Mom is mom okay" Lola asks me when we got to the top "Mom is okay she's just a little tired" I say to her and stroke her back and continue to the room

When we arrived in the room we both saw my wife lying on the bed with our eyes closed we go quietly to her and lie down next to her. Lola puts her hand on Jen's stomach and I put my arm around both of them, so Lola and I doze off
