Pansy: "the day you were really drunk he brought you back to the dorm and tucked you in and when he was leaving he kissed your forehead it was really weird I thought you hated each other"

Y/n: "I promise you we do hate each other, me and mattheo will never ever be a thing EVER"

Pansy just raised her eyebrows and smiled

It had been a couple days since me and mattheo had started fake dating we were both getting used to each other company which was shocking to say the least. I actually enjoyed hanging out with mattheo but he didn't need to know that EVER.

Our plan was working Enzo was getting jealous from me and mattheo being so close but our friends were suspecting something was off in our relationship, I don't blame them me and mattheo despised each other now we are in couple, what also made them wary of our relationship was me and mattheo were not touchy with each other like normal couples are.

Pansy had warned me about our friends
They knew me and mattheo were up to something if we were faking dating I just didn't want them to know that Enzo cheated on me and the way i am trying to get him back was being in a fake relationship with the boy that I hate.it was embarrassing...

It was dark outside so I planned to go to astronomy tower for a little debrief.

I had reached the tower and just laid
down on the ground looking at the sky just thinking...

Was getting touchy with mattheo really the way to get Enzo back.?
Was I becoming friends with mattheo?
Enzo is not the same person I had met 2 years ago
Would my relationship with Enzo be the same if we get back together..?
Do I move on from Enzo why would I want to go back to him after he cheated?

Thoughts were running wild inside my head I was so confused I was lost in my own thoughts until i was interrupted by a loud distracting cough,I knew who it was.it was mattheo i had no energy to look up and see his face or even talk to him and he somehow understood that.

Mattheo then layed down next to me
Mattheo: "what's wrong?"

Y/n: "what's not wrong riddle"

Mattheo: "I thought we got passed calling each other by our surname mikealson"

Y/n: "my bad mattheo..better?" I chuckled

Mattheo: "way better,now tell me what's bothering you"

Y/n: "there's a lot of question I feel required to answer in my mind but I have no answer for them it sounds stupid I know"

Mattheo: "it doesn't y/n.. come on tell me the questions so I can see if I can help you answer them"

he say that while getting up from the ground and giving me his hands and pulling me off the ground too

We both sat at the edge of the tower with our legs hanging off the tower,
Y/n: "Okay firstly I must inform you our so called friends think us dating is a ruse"

Mattheo: "that's because it is..."

Y/n: "well no shit but they are not meant to know or think that or else why else are we doing this" I slap mattheo and laugh

Mattheo: "that's not the only thing bothering you though is it carry on"

Y/n: "this may seem too much to ask but would you kiss me-" I was interrupted with mattheo leaning in and I shoved his face away

Y/n: "nice try dickhead" we both laugh

Y/n: "are you willing to kiss me in front our friends to make this relationship believable"

Mattheo: " why Infront our friends why not now?"

Y/n: "mattheo shut up be serious"

Mattheo: "I'm okay with it..."
I looked at him in disbelief he was willing to kiss me for my benefit of this fake relationship he had no benefit of the fake relationship except from getting kissed by me and being with me . Not a lot of  people can say they have kissed y/n mikealson x

Y/n: "last question from me before snape or someone catches us on this tower do you think I should move on from Enzo..."

Mattheo: "I can't answer that for you y/n.. but I can say what I know about the reason you are not moving on from Enzo and want him back it is because that is the relationship you've ever known.."

Y/n: "for the first time I think you said something that true mattheo"

Mattheo rolled his eyes

Y/n: "Enzo was the first relationship I had where he was actually there even if it got toxic during the end he was there he was my bestfriend and boyfriend in one he was there when I needed him, he was the first person I had a real relationship with unlike my parents... my father was barely in my life because of the hollow didn't even get a FaceTime call after I turned 6, and my mum died when I was young because of me..." I say looking down towards the ground below (pretend Hayley died in the originals when hope was 9)

Mattheo: "y/n...-"

Y/n: "we should both go it's getting late we need to get up early for class tomorrow"

I say interrupting him and walking away
As I did not want to hear pity after I had stupidly opened to him again
