"Y/n?..."

That voice its "Gobber?" I said if it's really him then berk made peace with dragons which means i can see Astrid again! Well, hear Astrid actually "your alive your alive!!" I hear footsteps and I'm picked up into bone crushing hug "Gobber can't breathe" i said and he let me go i gasped trying to regain my breath "Y/n is it really you" "yes but may i know who you are?" "Astrid." I'm just about to smile out of joy because i knew i heard that voice somewhere before until i hear Astrid walking towards me well more like stomping and suddenly

SMACK

My head flew to the left i hear several gasps i stumbled a bit at Astrid smacking me but what she said next made me realize i deserve much more than just a slap "YOU PROMISED ME!!" She yelled I hear her walking away i try to go after her but Gobbers metal hook stopped me "let er cool off for a bit then try talking to er you're gonna get nowhere if you try right now" i can hear her sobbing soon her footsteps get faster and faster until i hear she's sprinting away it broke my heart to hear her cry but it broke my heart even more that i was the cause of it

Everyone was asking me why i disappeared and where i hid holding onto my baby dragons and putting a hand on Adira i answer their questions as they lead me through new berk of course i answered their questions about my blindfold and told them about how i became blind but my mind was elsewhere i hesitantly handed Valka my baby dragons as she urged me to find Astrid promising me, she would take care of them

I told Adira to stay with Valka and snuck off to the direction i heard Astrids footsteps when she stormed off hours ago

Walking through the forest i suddenly hear the familiar tune 'of over the rainbow' me and Astrids song following it i finally found her as i heard her start singing

Accidently stepping on twig making it snap gained her attention "what do you want Y/n" she said my heart shattered even more at her harsh tone opening my mouth i try to speak but no words left i walk up next to her and sit down but keeping a distance between us as i don't think she wants me close right now

"Why?" I heard her whisper "why didn't you come back" i felt my heart shattered all over again hearing her voice break "i spent every day down at the dock waiting for you to come back just as you promised but you never did" Her voice slowly getting lower and lower with every word until she was speaking in barley even a whisper hearing her quite sniffles i knew she was crying

I started to let my own tears spill as i pulled off my blindfold finally finding my voice and began to speak "i want you to know i really am sorry" i turned towards her feeling her eyes on me i hear her gasp "i really did want to come back Astrid but with becoming blind i could never know if berk made peace with dragons not wanting to risk getting attacked if they didn't i stayed hidden I thought about you every day Astrid but it was impossible to tell if the berk made peace with dragons with being blind words can't explain how sorry i am for abandoning you" putting my blindfold back on i get up and start walking away back to berk

I feel Astrids hand on my arm pull me around towards her and feel her lips crash onto mine i melt into the kiss not realizing that Astrid had pinned me against a tree or the people eavesdropping but hearing a twig snap and a quick "shh" from the forest i break the kiss panting not even getting the chance to tell Astrid somebody was watching us before she had kissed me again when we finally break apart i tell her in between pants "somebody's w-watching us"

We both turn our heads hearing the rest of the dragon riders congratulate us for making up and getting together i turn my head towards Astrid to ask her to officially be my girlfriend but she beats me to it

"Y/n will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes of course" i kiss her again i can't wait for what the future holds for us
