new years was here now, you and satoru couldn't celebrate christmas together because you were with your parents family's. so you decided to celebrate new years with him.
"are you sure it's okay? i don't want your dad to get mad." satoru asked you, while he walked you inside of his house.
"its okay, my parents don't mind. we originally planned to stay in nagasaki until after new years, but my parents started to get annoyed with some of my aunts and uncles." you explained to him.
"nagasaki?! so that's where you were during christmas? that's really far.." he muttered the last part, you laughed at his reaction.
"yeah, but this year will be our first new years together. so might as well make it count, right?"
he smiled softly, he grabbed the handle of the door, beginning to hold it open. "yeah, to our first new years together!"
"satoru, you didn't say [name] was coming over?" megumi's mom said, she pulled on satoru's ears as she was pissed.
"I TOLD YOU YESTERDAY!"
"oh right!" she exclaimed, she let go of his ear as she turned to face you. "it's nice to have you here to spend new years with us, isn't that right toji?" nana asked her husband.
"yeah, yeah, happy to have you here..." he trailed off, he didn't seem all that interested as his wife.
"megumi, it's [name]!"
you turned around to see tsumiki running towards you, she hugged your leg tightly. megumi came over, he shrugged as he waved over to you. he was a little excited to have someone else over for once, and not just his family.
"i'm making dinner, how about you two keep the kids busy. me and toji need a little break." nana explained to you both, she smiled warmly as she hugged her husband.
"no problem," you assured her and toji, they both nodded in thanks.
"i heard at school that they said the world is going to end." megumi muttered, while they were up in his and tsumiki's shared bedroom.
"what a bunch of stupid kids." satoru commented, he didn't really believe in that sorta thing. "that's not nice satoru!" tsumiki scolded. even though she was younger, she actually acted like satoru's age.
"gojo's just joking around." you assured the two kids, out of the corner of your eye, you saw satoru give you a glance. though, he quickly looked away before you could really notice or say anything.
