Just like you had said the day before, there you were holding Mina's books as you walked together with her. She had a triumphant smirk plastered on her face as she walked towards Sana and Momo. You trailed closely behind, like a lost puppy.

"Hi, Y/N!" Momo greeted excitedly.

"Hey! How are you?" you smiled in return.

"I'm oka-"

Mina cut her off abruptly and said, "That's enough of that."

You rolled your eyes, visibly annoyed, and you could see Momo felt the same. You had to find a way to be alone with her. Mina and Nayeon were nutcases, and Momo was like a breath of fresh air in comparison to them.

That's when you realized that Mrs. Johnson only lets one person out at the bathroom at a time. So if you go and meet Momo, Mina will never find out.

"Let's go, Y/N. The bell is about to ring," Mina said impatiently as she noticed the exchange.

Mina turned on her heel, expecting you to immediately follow. While risky, you knew this was your only chance.

"Go to the bathroom at 8:15," you quickly whispered to Momo.

You saw her features light up like a lightbulb in a dark room. Before following Mina, you sent a playful wink in Momo's direction, and she bit her lip in response.

By the time the bell rang, you and Mina had just walked in the door. You saw Nayeon's gaze. She looked hurt beyond compare. Angrily, you placed Mina's books down and sat down with your arms folded. As much as Nayeon freaked you out, she was still your first true friend at this school.

"What's gotten into you?" Mina questioned, furrowing her eyebrows.

You only ignored her and began to watch the clock tick. Though it seemed Mrs. Johnson took notice of your lack of interest. She called you up to the board and asked you to solve a problem.
This was a rather advanced class, AP Physics. You guys were currently learning quantum mechanics, which is arguably one of the hardest lessons in the curriculum. She stared at you expectantly. Though, unfortunately, you had no idea what was happening.

"Go sit back down," Mrs. Johnson sighed.

You checked the clock; it read 8:13.

"Wait! Can I please use the restroom?" you asked.

Mrs. Johnson huffed and nodded, extending out her hand to give you the pass. You happily took it and began to make your way to the bathroom. There, you saw Momo in all of her glory.

"This is where we met," Momo stated, "and this was the stall you saw me in."

Momo walked into the stall and dragged you with her, locking the door behind you. You pressed your back up against the wall, trying to leave as much space between you two as possible.

"I don't care if Mina finds out," Momo said, her voice airless.

She approached you and pressed her body against yours. Her hands came up to rest on your cheeks, and yours were positioned on her hips. She leaned in until your noses were touching. You could feel her minty breath fanning on your face. You glanced between her mesmerizing brown eyes and her plump, pink lips. Though the location was less than ideal, you wanted to taste her so badly.

"Stop teasing," you mumbled.

She giggled and tilted her head. Her doe eyes displayed a playful, confused expression. Though you pulled her closer to you by her hips and connected your lips. They were softer than you could've ever imagined. Not to mention, it was clear she knew what she was doing. As she pulled away, she noticed her lipstick had stained your lips. Though she didn't say anything, she kind of liked how it looked on you, especially since it came from her. But Momo didn't know Mina was in your class, so she kept quiet about the smudge.

"I have to go back now, but thank you," you said awkwardly.

Why were you thanking her?

"Before you go," Momo fished something out of her pocket, "take this."

It was a small piece of paper with her phone number on it. You gladly took it and stuffed it in your pocket before leaving. The very second you walked back to class and sat down next to Mina, she grabbed your chin and forced you to look at her.

She wasn't looking at your eyes, but rather your lips. You glanced back and forth worriedly as her manicured thumb came up to your lips. She wiped them slowly and looked at her thumb afterwards. There was a small, red stain. You had never seen Mina look so... furious. But what scared you the most is that she didn't say a single word to you.

Unbeknownst to you, she could recognize that shade from anywhere. This was because she bought it for Momo. Mina wasn't sure what she was going to do, but she knew it wasn't going to be pretty.

"Mina, that means nothing. I was just biting my lip a little too hard, and I guess it drew some blood," you whispered, deception dripping off your tongue.

"Shut up," she repeated to herself, mumbling it over and over again.

Soon enough, she stopped, but the silence was worse than her maniacal whispers. Now, you could hear a pin drop. You were desperate to break it, as you were scared of what she would do to you or Momo if she ever found out.

"I'm still coming over later, right?" you asked.

You had never swam in anything bigger than an inflatable kiddie pool from the dollar store. So, you were a bit excited. Though she left you with no response. Instead, she grabbed onto your thigh and deeply dug her long acrylics into it. Your breath hitched in your throat from the pain, and you could feel the blood dripping down the side of your flesh. This happened for the remainder of the period.

When the bell rang, you could barely stand up. Pain shot quickly through your leg. It wobbled unsteadily as you grabbed her books and walked, to the best of your abilities, behind her.

"You're sitting with me today," Mina demanded.

You placed her books down on the lunch table and laughed. Mina looked back down at your lips and then at Momo's, confirming her suspicions.

"That wasn't part of our deal. I'll see you at the end of the day because I can't walk you to your next class," you explained, quickly turning around and limping away.

"I won't be paying for your parents' debt anymore. Maybe you should've thought about them before kissing my Y/N!" Mina growled.

Momo just looked down in shame, wondering how Mina had even found out. You watched their exchange, knowing Mina had just said something horrible to Momo. You tried your best to ignore them.

"Soccer tryouts are tomorrow," Nayeon said, breaking your train of thought.

She saw your eyes light up.

"Really? I was so good at my last school. I love soccer so much," you rambled on.

"I'm pretty good too. You're talking to the varsity captain!" Nayeon bragged.

Your jaw dropped. Before finding out, you always wondered how she stayed in such good shape. When she wore crop tops, you would sneak "secret" glances at her abs. Not to mention, you could see her leg muscles through her leggings at some angles. As shameful as it was, you had checked her out on multiple occasions.

"I'll see if you can live up to your word at tryouts," Nayeon said.

The bell rang and you walked Nayeon to your shared English class, AP English Literature. You were amazed at how smart she was. Before walking into class, Nayeon kissed your cheek and smiled at you. You trailed closely behind and took your seat next to her. You were convinced your face was red for the remainder of the class.

Once the bell had rung, Nayeon waved goodbye, and you began to walk to Mina's locker. Although, Mina was fuming with jealously and rage, she didn't want to ruin her time alone with you.

"Ready to go swimming?" Mina asked excitedly.

"Of course," you said.

Mina gave you her Marc Jacobs Tote Bag, signaling that you had to carry it. You took it without disagreement. After this, Mina slipped her hand into yours, interlocking them tightly. Usually you would protest, but you didn't want to set her off again.
